Company failed to move tools that were in my garage
On June Kettering Moving and Storage company was contracted to pack my household belongings at *** *** *** and move them to *** *** *** *** Prior to the move *** *** representative of the company, and I walked the house and determined which items were to be movedWhen we got to the garage, I showed her the tools that were to be taken They were separated from the other items in garage by crime tape and marked do not sell (as I was going to have a garage sale)*** said not to worry as they wouldn't be wrapped just thrown on the truckI was not there on moving day as I was in *** closing on my new house.The movers failed to take the tools that were sitting in the garageI have been in contact with the company for months trying to get this resolved The owner does not return my calls
At first the crew claimed they never went into my garage That was inaccurate because they move
We hired Kettering Moving and Storage for a local move They were very professional, friendly and conscientious The three men on the job were Fred, Jamey, and Doug We had some very difficult pieces to move, and they just found a way to get the job done I am hiring and requesting these men on our next move
*** *** sent me an email stating that he would refund to us for Lost/Stolen items from our move to *** I have this information in emails
We were moved by *** and his crew in May of When our move was complete to ** we were missing many itemsWe have received the runaround from NAVL since the end of MayI do have emails if you would like to see themOn 12/2/*** *** said he was sorry for the lack of response...that he had been so very busyHe at that time told me that his agent would "cut a check for 300.00" This is to replace items that are missingHe did say he understands out frustration and anger and he hopes this would remedy the situation Again he apologized for the oversight But guess what....no check!!
We used this company last year and have tried to resolve an issue with them for the past monthsThey made some mistakes and we have given them plenty of time to resolve the issuesSome of which were broken items, large item was left in the warehouse and wasn't delivered for another weeks , they did not take inventory as the truck was unloaded and also did not put all the boxes in the correct rooms even though they were labeledI am very disappointed in Ken the owner as he will not return my calls or texts.We asked for a small amount of money to replace items and damaged goods and they will not respond to us.I would not recommend this company to anyone in the Dayton area and even if the price is a little lower you will benefit from using another reputable company

October (Tuesday) movers removed furniture from my home in Ohio During the move furniture was damaged/broken (e.g., piano leg broken) The movers were to deliver my furniture to a location in North Carolina on Saturday, October and did not arrive until Sunday, October Movers had promised to have furniture fixed prior to the move Attempts to contact the agent regarding this matter via email (October and November 2) and telephone have been unsuccessfulThe agent, *** ***, stated on November after I sent a second email, "I did see your previous email but got sidetracked and forgot to respondSorry about thatI will call you tomorrow in between my appointments."
