AutoZone

I purchased a car battery from the AutoZone store in December 2019, and then I returned to the store as requested to give them my old car battery. When I returned to the store, the store manager came outside to take a look at the installment of my new car battery. During this time, he went back into the store and returned outside to my car with a sledge hammer. He claimed that using the hammer on my car battery would help to better secure the adapter screws in place. The AutoZone store manager damaged the terminal battery sensor on my car battery while inappropriately hammering at it. This became obvious to me when I turned my car on and my dashboard light came on while I was leaving their store to go back to work. I contacted the store manager about this issue, and I also contacted the District Manager, *** (***), about this issue. I also went to the local Honda dealership to get a quote for the damages. *** agreed by phone that AutoZone would pay for the damages done to my car, but he would like to take a look at the damages beforehand. I have made several attempts to get in contact with the District Manager since he stated this, but unfortunately nothing has been done to resolve this issue.
