On 2/15/2020 I purchased 4 items from Autozone (Store #***) at 11am PST, and Autozone seemed to be experiencing a data breach as I was making my purchase for $140.29 and I was charged on my credit card the amount noted. The cashier ***, told me that he cannot provide a receipt because the system was not letting him print one. Then store manager ***, told me that I could not leave with the items that I had purchased because he could not produce me a receipt and that he would provide a refund in the next 48 hours. *** took a picture of the computer monitor and assured me that I would receive a full refund in the next 48 hours. The refund never came. I checked my credit statement on 2/23/2020 and the promised refund was not refunded. I went back to the store on 2/23/2020, and talked to *** and ***, and they were rude and non helpful to the point where I had to call the police because they said that they cannot give me a refund because they had to go through corporate and it would take too much time and that I had to be patient. More than a week went by and so I was patient. They did not want to help me at all, to the point where I had to call the police to see if they could help me, because I got charged $140.29 on my credit for items that I did not leave to the store with. ***, and *** did not let me leave the store with the 4 items that I was charged for, even though I called the credit card and they provided me with an authorization number for the credit card purchase, which proved that Autozone charged me for the 4 items. I called my credit Card and filed a fraud complaint. I have suffered a lot of stress to the point where I had to miss a day of work, because I could not believe that I was charged and could not leave the store with the items that I had purchased. *** and *** might be part of the data breach, and kept my information to take my identity and sell it on the black market. They did not want to help me at all.

Desired Outcome

Refund All I wanted was my money back. A full refund for items that I was charged for and did not leave the store with, because *** did not let me leave with them, because they were apparently having a nation wide data breach as I made my purchase. They were very intimating and non help full at all. Extremely rude. I will never shop at Autozone ever again. As a consumer, I was treated with no respect at Autozone.
