Review: May 2, 2015- [redacted] bought the vacuum pump- part number [redacted], installed it, and it worked like it should. But on Aug 8, 2015 they stopped working, once more the breaks would not engage. Because the breaks failed two cars were totaled. I returned the part to auto zone [redacted] they turned to claims department, I have a claim number [redacted]. I did everything they wanted, paper work, pictures, police report. Not once did I hear from the claims department. I tried calling the local store [redacted] they said I had to call legal department, but didn't know the number, then hung up on me. I have tried calling head office, they gave me to bogus numbers. [redacted], the maker of the part has tried, [redacted] insurance has tired calling, no one will return phone calls.Desired Settlement: I need Auto Zone to hand over all the paper work and the part to [redacted] So we can resolve the issue with the part.

In February of 2016 the complainant decided to check up on the claim in which once again was requested of the additional paper work and other piece of the part. Conclusion: The money paid for the part was returned to the customer and the claim has now been completely filed. The complainant should be receiving or has received the final decision on the part in question from or claims department. As a representative of AutoZone we have done everything on our side per our company policy. Thanks
