I have lived at these apartments for around a year and a half. The primary reason being for school concerns. When I first signed my lease I never got a copy. Every time I requested it I got a response of 'oh, we are going green and we will email it to you!' That's nothing that I would argue until I never receive it there on after. Soon I asked for a down grade into a studio. When I signed the new lease I was set up for 12 months without knowledge until I looked it over. The terms were never discussed until I asked to go over before signing. Fine, not something to get hot about.
From then on when I moved I had multiple issues with the apartment. First of which was an obvious pouch of water protruding from the ceiling into the living room. Multiple time I called for a service request and gave a verbal ok to enter the premises for that day to have it fixed yet still to the day of my move out it was never addressed. Shortly there after I realized my electric was twice the cost via SRP's MPower box. I called SRP and they had me test the electric through the power breakers. Once figuring out it was the water heater I went into the front office and asked to have it fixed. I did receive a note stating the premises was enter and the resolution was found in regards to the water heater. Yet still my bill never changed. I guess a 1 bedroom uses less electricity. Makes perfect sense.
Next the dishwasher would not work. All the water would settle at the bottom and never ran properly. Again, I called for service request. Again, it was never addressed.
Some time after that My AC starting leaking clear fluid. I called to have it addressed yet once more no one came to service it. A friend told me to keep clear from it as it could be freon or something even more dangerous to my health. At this point you can imagine the frustration.
With all of these issue and the apartments around me being filled with illegal substances and acts I broke my lease. No matter the cost I was done with the stress and felt no need to elongate issues that should have been resolved.
However I can't be done with it that easily
Once I signed the papers and talked With Kathy, who please make sure she understands what she tells you because keeping track of signed papers anything of any importance is not her forte , I delivered my first payment of the Acceptance of Partial Payment that was signed by BOTH me and her. If I did not keep a copy then I would have had a situation where despite my new number is filled out and dated 04/09/14 and when I turned in the keys and delivered my first payment on 05/01/14 and again provided my new number for another employee to take down my father, who has an old phone number with a TUCSON area code, was left a message asking why I was breaking my lease. When I called back [redacted] picked up the phone. She then informed me that I still had papers to sign.
How is that possible? Why was not informed early? And why are you now using my lease for outdate information? She wanted to argue that the number on my lease was what was used to contact me as if it was okay. Then what was the point of providing my new number? Multiple times? So it could be lost again like most things collected by the front office?
At this point professionalism is out the window for [redacted] since understanding my distress and anger is not something she is capable of doing. I advise I have paper signed by the both of us and if the issue needs to be taken to a higher level then I will make it happen.
After a brief moment of 'finally giving her a moment to speak' and 'taking a look' [redacted] finds my signed partial payment 'stuck in the middle of my lease agreement'
It took less than 4 minutes to do this
Yet, it took an even shorter amount of time I can assume to go through my lease agreement. disregard that paper, assume I signed nothing, accept my payment without question or concern, and contact an outdated number to reach me in regards to this 'confusion'
I hope people hear this story and take it into consideration. Businesses do not practice like this. I wanted a resolution or at least a sorry and I got [redacted] acting as if I was being rude and unreasonable and quickly hanging up on me.
Please consider anything but Autumn Creek. The stress isn't worth the time

Please consider anything but Autumn Creek. The stress isn't worth the time

I have been here since October of 2015. Since day 1 I've let the management know about mold in my home. Nothing was ever done. Later starting in December my 1 year old starting getting very sick. He never got better only worse. His symptoms were a horrible cough to the point where he had to gasp for air, congestion, runny nose, and he had 5 double ear infections in less than 4 months. I thought nothing of it till a few people mentioned to me that where there was water damage, there might be mold. I brought the attention to the management may Autumn creek and they started getting very nasty with me and the manager Bree started having atttitude. This was told on the 12th of April 2016. Today is now April 22nd and I'm still not living in my own apartment that I pay rent for! I told them they need to call a specilest since my 1 year old can't just make up these symptoms and of cousr Or a from the apt. Because when we are gone he's completely fine other than a cough which has now effected him!! The maintenance came on the same week and cut open the walls without the proper gear nor did they block off the area, so no the spores are even worse in my home! I took my son down stairs immediately and when they cut open the roof A huge piece of insulation fell covered in black mold. When they were cutting open the walls they kept stuffing the insulation down and to the sides so we couldn't see it. The hole time they were claiming it was not to old and that it was mildew and completely safe for me and my son to be in there. They left for 2 hours with my walls exposed before someone came to put a trash bag over it, not even covering the whole thing. I called the front office and told them since this was clearly black mold what are they going to do now since know I can't even step foot into the apt? The guy I spoke with said his maintenance team was all certified and that they knew 100% that this was not black mold. I was so fursterated and told them that yes it was and now I have no where to stay that they need to call a specilest and terminate my lease and put us in a hotel. They denied and said I HAVE TO PAY TO GET IT TESTED BY A SPECILEST and till I can prove what it is, THAT IT'S SAFE FOR US TO GO BACK INSIDE. I talked to Bree the manager and I asked her for her maintenance certs since she said a few times now that there all certified. She yelled at me saying "I don't have to show you anything!" I felt like they didn't care about is one bit. So now me and my son are homeless back cause they won't help me. I finally got the test results that prove that it is in deed black mold. After 1 week I'm still not relocated and now paying for a hotel out of pocket. Plus the $250 I had to pay for the mold test. I than went in again and asked Bree what am I supposed to do since now they have proof. She said I can not terminate my lease. So I asked her "am I just supposed to go in there and get my son even more sick?!" her EXCACT WORDS WERE "that's up to you!" I than went to the corporate office which is PEM realestate And they said I can more different apartment complexes but cannot get out of my lease. She than said I will get a moving company SINCE I told her than I will not take my son back in there and that I'm alone here and have no one to help me. And I also asked for a discount on my rent since I hanky lived there for a month and she said no. Bottom line now is...there trying to pay me to shut my mouth and sign a WAIVER or I will not get a moving company or anything they offered if I don't sign it.. Please please never rent an apt here!!! They have now patched up my wall without fixing the black mold and it's ready for a new family with children to get very sick or die!!!! This place needs to be to warn down! Did I mention that one other girl living there has mushrooms growing out of her wall?! Please help spread the word. This place IS insaine! And does not care about your health!!
