I worked for AV Design... the worst company I ever worked. They are incompetent and they don’t have a good management and engineering. They send me to work without engineering, NO real project manager. Very disappointing. When they hire you they promise a lot of things but you end to pay for drill bits and consumables from your pocket. If you have a car your mileage it’s a bonus.

Be careful dealing with AV Design & Integration in Elmsford, NY. We hired them to install an audio visual system at a cost of more than $110,000. They delivered and charged us for equipment we did not need, refused to take it back or refund our money. They failed and refused to correct obvious deficiencies in their work and we had to hire another contractor at a cost of $30,000 to clean up their mess at an additional significant cost to us. Hiring AV was a huge mistake.
Review: 4 years ago I contracted with AV Design to install a home theater system. We have had continual problems with the system. One part of the system that they recommended and installed has never worked properly. They finally decided that it wouldn't work. However, we were not offered a refund on that part of the system. Additionally, the controls for the system (the Universal Remote) have needed repair multiple times. I have asked them to replace this brand with a more reliable brand but they have declined.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back for the music system switch that has never worked. As well I would like my money back for the universal remote. I will not ask for the money back for the repairs that I have paid although if the products were more reliable I would not have had that expense.
