The owner spent more than an hour to identify a current replacement solution for a 16 year old roll-up that failed. He asked for pictures and measurements via email.
Their "core" business is Audio Video but they have become one of Somfy's recommended dealers because of their knowledge and professionalism. The parts arrived in less than a week and fit perfectly. They do not inflate their prices so the expertise you receive is "free".

Looking at the previous reviews, this company has been around for quite a while. I bought one Somfy motor, drive and crown for my Hunter Douglas blinds to make sure everything worked okay It turned out this was a new model just put out by Somfy and was not compatible with the crown and drive that AV outlet sent to me. I notified AV outlet by email of the problem and received a response within two hours. They acknowledge that the crown had changed and they very promptly ordered a new crown from Somfy which I received within about 10 days. I have since ordered 26 motors and associated hardware which all came quicker than I expected given the Covid 19 issues and the entire order was correct.

These guys respond quickly to the customer, they offer great advice, know their products well, and work very hard to correct any issues quickly. It seems like a lot of companies after they have been in existence several years let their customer service slip, however these guys are still working very hard to make it right. I would recommend them without reservation.

Talked with "***" who said she was "part owner" re: question about my order I had to repeat to her times the exact same question Ordering online was a real hassle Check out was unclear what items I had purchased and I had to call in to search for an item that would not pull up on the site's search
Owner, ***, thinks you, the customer are the problem, not their difficult to navigate site ( I was looking for a manual clutch system with internal hem bar to go with roller shade)
Was unable to print their instructions to mount a shade and assemble clutch system Part owner, ***, stated, "It must be your computer It prints fine for me." The instructions are PDf form; my computer easily prints pdfs from any other site easily and clearly
Written instructions were omitted from my shipment, as well as invoice Site stated instructions would be included with shipment- not so Had to call to get these mailed Goodness This was an unfortunate experience

AV Outlet is a godsend! We couldn't have completed our project without them. Since we were having a new house built, our project took over a year from initial research to final execution, and they were with us every step of the way. They were quick to answer any questions we had, and were happy to provide detailed product information and recommendations as needed. They also took care of any issues that arose during installation. Customer service doesn't get any better than this!
