We reviewed our records concerning this complaint. [redacted] examined [redacted] on April 6, 2016 and was diagnosed with Anal Sacculitits. At this office visit the anal gland was expressed and infused with lcc of Bayril. The owner was given Enrofloxacin 22.7mg and Deramaxx Tablets to be given according...

to instruction and returned on April 22 to be re examined and continued medical treatment. The patient returned on May 24 and was examined by [redacted] who also diagnosed [redacted] with anal Sacculitits He expressed the glands and gave .9cc of Depo and .8cc convenia to treat anal gland infection. We are uncertain why the owner mistakenly thought the diagnosis was Colitis when it was actually told to be Anal Sacculitis. On June 1, the patient returned with a complaint of respiratory difficulties and check the anal glands and was given Temeril and Convenia which both medicines have therapuetic benefits for both problems. The office staff explained to the client that a normal recheck fee is $25.00. The receptionist does not have the authority to change this fee, however, at the time of an office visit the doctor has the discretion to examine each medical situation and charge accordingly. There have been times when the office was under staffed and we apologize for any extended wait times on the phone. According to our records, [redacted] was properly diagnosed at each visit with Anal Sacculitis and was treated consistently for this condition at each appointment. Anal Gland infections are often chronic and many times require numerous visits to treat and sometimes may require surgery. We deeply care for each client and animal that comes to our hospital and strive to provide the best medical care and experience possible.
