It seems anybody can come and leave unverified reviews here. We are in a business for over 13 years with a good name and good standing. In case you want to see our true reviews please visit our Google review or eBay review pages. For many years selling on eBay and working with google, you wont find any better indicator on how we actually operate. As of 2023 we have all 100% rating on both Google and Ebay review, which is way above the level of most furniture stores. Since we can dispute there and request the invoices, none can come an leave us fake reviews. Our Google and eBay review pages are opened and verified source. I recently purchased a new sectional from Avant Garde. The item arrived early. Delivery was quick and professional. Quality product for an excellent price. I will definitely purchase from this company in the future. Great customer service

Still waiting almost a month later and no furniture set. Almost 2k. Freight company is a terrible joke. Furniture store marked it as shipped 2 days after ordering yet the shipping place didn't get it until 12 days later and still sat on it for another week. I have no idea where it is now or if it will ever get here.

This is really great company. They do hand delivery and assembly free of charge. Was looking for review and despite those below made a purchase. Called the company and they said customers make mistakes between avantgarde furniture and avant-garde home furnishings which is also called avant-garde furniture

Review: We had a horrific experience with this company and their delivery service. Do not order from them. Actually, this was the first time we ordered furniture online, and we will never do that again based on this one experience.First off, we were not made aware that the furniture would not come assembled. We have ordered from many furniture stores in the past, and the furniture always is set in place by the delivery men. In this instance, there was only one delivery man, and he called and asked someone to come outside to help him. My husband went outside, and he was forced to carry the furniture items inside. I'm shocked by this alone. If you are delivering furniture, the customer should not be expected to do the heavy lifting and bring items into the house. A delivery service always delivers and sets the furniture in place. The delivery truck also showed up at our home very late. It was supposed to arrive at 8 pm, but he did not show up until 10:30 pm. At this time, our neighbors were awakened and their dogs started barking very loudly. Our neighborhood has young families, and our neighbors did not appreciate a delivery so late at night. Another issue was that the delivery man was not willing to wait until we opened up all the furniture and inspected it. I even asked him several times what if the furniture is damaged. He responded with "Well, that means I'll have to wait here for over an hour, and I'm only to drop it off." He was not willing to wait. He left. The items came damaged. The 3 seater sofa and the love seat were two different colors. The 3 seater was also damaged with the leather wrinkled on the back side and also some damage on the front.Desired Settlement: I contacted the company immediately and asked for a full refund based on all the issues above. Not only was the furniture damaged, the delivery experience was horrid. My husband acquired back pains due to the heavy lifting. What really upset me was that at no time prior to ordering this furniture was I told that the furniture would come unassembled or that this would be a "curb side delivery" with only one delivery man. The company is unwilling to refund shipping costs.

Review: We ordered bedroom furniture and found it defective. There was nails coming out of the side of the nightstand. The ornimant detail, was hot glued on to the furniture. We paid nearly 3,000 for the bedroom suite. When we called about the returning the furntire we were told we had to pay $600 for the free shipping and an the cost to ship it back to them all the way from Texas. Making the total $1200.00. Half the cost of the bedroom suite. Even though the furniture was defective.

Also, there policy tells you to inspect the furniture when you recieve. However, if you want to return it you have to keep in in the orginial box unopened in order to get a full refund. Well how do I know if it's defective if I don't open up the box.

So either way we end up screwed. They still make half the money for the defective product and we our of that money to put towards a bedroom suite that would not be defective for that price.

Due to the price to ship it back and no guarentee for a refund cause we had to open one of the boxes to look at the furniture we are weighing our options on what to do with the junk we have. It's not going to last long.

When we called no one answered the phone and I had to leave several messages regarding the defective furniture. When I asked to speak to the guys boss he said he didn't have one, and the [redacted] was gone. He was very rude and didn't care that he selled defective furniture.Desired Settlement: We do not believe this is possible to get a refund. The gentleman has much said if we didn't pay for the $600 shipping and the additional cost to ship it back to them then we are stuck with it.

We don't want to spend 1200.00 that we don't have on furntire that was defective. Very said you hope you are getting quality and instead end up getting trash.
