Work done in 2018 is just now being an issue. They said they kept fighting with insurance but never sent us statements or kept us up to date on what was happening. They haven't had any contact with us until now and wanted to turn us into collections. They have had the right phone number and mailing address all this time. They said they let go of the girl who was in charge of this account. Again still not our fault. Waiting 2 or as she said a year ( she said records show they reached out a year ago.) without any contact, how are we supposed to know. Then, we get a huge bill and all they say is sorry you knew you owed this. Not professional in anyway.

I understand your frustration and some of the confusion. As previously explained to your husband, there was a lapse of time in which you were not contacted due to several reasons. The details that were highlighted to your husband are as follows:
On the following dates treatment plans for the expected treatment were presented to the patient for which he signed and had treatment done. Total discounts that were applied were of $424.40 bring total owing for all treatment was $702.60.
April 1st 2018: Treatment plan with discount applied was presented to the patient (your husband) and signed for a total of $490.85 and $113.75
June 17th 2018: Treatment plan with discount applied was presented to the patient (your husband) and signed for a total of $98.00
Contact attempts were made on the following dates:
Phone: 6/20/18 - Left voicemail, made contact with patient on 9/5/18
Statements sent on 1/21/20, 2/3/20, 2/28/20
Because the patient was aware of his responsibility for treatment rendered, we hold the patient responsible for the entire amount. While there was a lapse in time, billing contact attempts were made. We understand the frustration on your end and that is why we have kindly chosen not to send this account to a collection agency when payments were not made following 90 days of the original treatment plan date, furthermore we have generously allowed for payments to be made to the outstanding balance of $50 per month. In which we have already applied the 1st payment that was made on 2/25/20. Your request to lower the cost further is not something we can do at this time as $424.40 has already been applied. Please note we have not added fiance charges to the account which would have originally applied at 30 days past due. We will continue to expect your monthly payment of $50.00, if there is any other details you need on the account we would be more than happy to supply them for you. Have a wonderful day!
