Avanti Systems USA, LLC Reviews (2)

From: Robert C*** [mailto:*** Sent: Wednesday, November 22, 12:PM To: *** Subject: Response to Complaint ID *** Hello *** *** *** I was very displeased by the very rough treatment that I have received from one
*** ** ***. Unfortunately we had two records on this person and his company in our computer system for quotes here at Avanti Systems USA. This resulted in a duplication of efforts on my part, as we have many, many clients to follow up on, and *** was listed on one list of records and on another list of records. My only concern for reaching out to him was to see if he was still interested in planning on moving ahead on a quote HE ASKED FOR on our *** *** Wall Systems for his business. In my job here at Avanti Systems USA, I am charged with the responsibility to call out to see if our clients need their custom glass fabricated for them, with usually calls and emails, a duplication of my efforts occurred him for which I apologized to him when he emailed me once more I have since removed all records pertaining to this person off of my company records, and he will never receive any additional calls or emails from me It is very sad that someone like him cannot understand a typical business process, perhaps he has been abused by someone else, a telemarketer, or someone else, which we are not, as it was *** *** who initially contacted us for our very beautiful products to use at his place of business and he obviously chose not to go forward with us I am also very sorry that he is wasting not only my time, but the time of the Revdex.com to vent, and only wish that he would be more responsible in the future and better think through how he acts and how he negatively impacts others I also trust that this single individual issue will not impact our outstanding A+ rating with the Revdex.com

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting Mr. Robert C[redacted]'s response, and in support thereof submit the following:1) Mr. C[redacted] has not received "rough treatment" from myself or my business. My only communication to Mr. C[redacted] has been via email on two occasions. The first email requested that he desist all communication attempts in reference to our original request, indicating we were no longer interested in his products. After receiving several more phone calls and emails, I sent a second email, which demanded all future communication from Avanti Systems desist and informed him of my intent to pursue a complaint with the Revdex.com and to share my dissatisfaction with Avanti's very poor business practices. I will gladly supply to the Revdex.com ALL email communication, along with phone records  and voicemails demonstrating the harassing nature of his phone calls, should you require such. For the record, this is the initial email communication to Mr. Robert C[redacted] ([redacted] dated October 10, 2017 @ 1:01pm:  Bob,I have now received 5 phone calls and several emails from you "following up" on a quote I never actually received. I did reach out to Avanti back in February/March about your [redacted] glass and spoke with one of your representatives about my project and how we might be able to use your products. However, she never responded with the updated quote and we have since decided not to pursue Avanti anymore. To be frank, your "following up" practices come across as desperate and border on harassment. I'm not sure what makes you think sending five or more emails and phone calls every day when they have not been returned is warranted or advisable, but I'm not impressed. If I receive one more call, text or email from you or anyone else at Avanti, I will be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com and providing comprehensive reviews of your "customer service" practices wherever possible. The second email was sent in response to several additional phone calls and emails that I had received from Mr. C[redacted]. It was sent on October 24, 2017 at 11:15am, after my complaint had been initiated with the Revdex.com (Sent to: [redacted]): You'll be hearing from the Revdex.com. If I receive another email or phone call from you, you'll be hearing from my attorney. Additionally, I find Mr. C[redacted]'s inflammatory and immature response to my complaint to be an egregious understatement of the harassing nature of his "follow-up" email and phone calls.  As previously stated, I DID request a quote from Avanti Systems earlier this year and I DID receive a initial quote from another representative (Alicia) for our project. However, the quote was inaccurate and incomplete (it did not address the information supplied via their quote request form). I spoke with Alicia via telephone several times while attempting to obtain an accurate quote for our project. After not receiving an updated quote, I elected not to pursue Avanti Systems further and notified Alicia during a follow-up call. In response to Mr. C[redacted]'s statement about my misunderstanding of a "typical" business process: I am the owner of several businesses, so I can say with confidence that his business practices are NOT typical and could be considered harassment in many states. At the time of his first phone call and email, Alicia with Avanti had already been informed of my company's desire not to pursue Avanti Systems any further, which should have precluded us from all further communication. He were then asked to desist a second time via email and again disregarded my request. Mr. C[redacted] also alleges that he acknowledged my initial email communication requesting communication desist. That is false. There is no phone, text or email record from Mr. C[redacted] in response to my email above, excluding than the continued phone and email "follow-ups" which followed. It was not until my third request and threat of legal action that he actually ceased communication. In no way, shape or form is that a typical business practice, nor is it acceptable, regardless of whether or not there was a duplicate account. I also find it hard to believe that he was making "so many" calls and emails that he did not notice my name/account if he claims to have received such "rough treatment" from myself. I appreciate that my account has been removed from Avanti's records as I have no intention of pursuing business with Avanti Systems in the future. At this time, I would also request that the Revdex.com note this complaint on Avanti System's business profile as this is obviously not behavior indicative of an A+ business and would reflect poorly on the Revdex.com's classification as such. And to be clear, this is not an insignificant issue, nor is it a means of "venting," as Mr. C[redacted] alleges. I filed this complaint because Mr. C[redacted] and Avanti Systems have a poor business practice that is inappropriate and borders on harassment and because regardless of whether or not it occurred as a result of computer or human error, ignorance and/or neglect are not acceptable excuses for such.I thank you for your time in handling this matter. Please let me know if you would like copies or documentation in support of the above. Respectfully,
[redacted]
