I presumed I had more significant basement slab & foundation issues *** *** came out to my property in *** *** and assessed the situation which were minor *** did not "sell" me of services, but provide some really good recommendation and advice I really apprecaited their visit and advice
I highly recommend AAA Basement Waterproofing I had previously gotten other estimates from "major" waterproofing companies that gave estimates of around $14,and said that would be the only way to get my basement to the humidity level I wanted (45%) *** *** from AAA came out and was as honest as the day is long He not only told me that he thought - "you don't need me, or them(meaning the other companies that had given estimates)" and went on to tell me "you just need to do [this, this and this- giving detailed instructions on each aspect of resolving my basement water issues] He didn't charge a dime for these verbal and written instructions and dehumidifier recommendation He told me that if those instructions are followed and flooding/moisture is still an issue then of course call him back and more may need to be done, but no reason until those steps are taken first His plan of attack was SPOT ON! Since I have completed his recommendations (do all of the things he says) the basement has been amazingI even had a hot water heater leak some but the dehumidifier he told me to buy(not from him - just online somewhere) allowed me to only have to do minimal cleanup because of it's drying power Huge thanks to *** for saving our family so much money and giving such excellent professional advice

[redacted] was very knowable and made it easy to understand the issues. Turns out, the gutters were the bigger problem...something that [redacted] and his company could not fix. Instead of trying to push for unnecessary repairs in the basement, [redacted] was very honest about diverting water from the gutters away from the house.
