the customer called after having repairs done on his vehicleHe alleges we did something illegal which is untrue, we did no such thing and so did alert our attorney of these claimsHe sent us a bogus bill after allegedly having repairs doneWe kindly asked for pictures and for parts and for how payment was made none of which customer could produceUnfortunately we tried to work with him but when we asked why he would have repairs done without calling us first for approval as it states on our invoice he became irate and yelled at usHe had also been given a warranty on our work and he failed to contact the warranty company as we followed through with the warranty company and they had no record of patron ever calling inThe patron never called us after having vehicle over a month to complain of anything,all we wanted to do was to see proof of his repairs, and old parts that should not have upset himTo send us a bill with no labor time no parts listed just a bill for more then he originally paid is justifiedWe tried to help him but we cannot be taken advantage ofThe repair shop that he went to should have informed him as we do and as is done in the industry that if you had repairs done you should notify the shop before any work is done, and that he would need the old parts, but they in their own words do not have any partsWe have no parts, no pictures and an illegal bill given to us with no authorization on the invoice from the customer , no signature from customer, just a vague bill IF patron can send us old defective parts( which the shop cannot produce) , show us the pictures of the parts while on the vehicle, show proof of payment from credit card , we can try to help himYou cannot have a vehicle repaired without notifying the shop, without returning parts, without showing pictures of why the parts were defective, without showing proof of his credit card payment, and without calling the warranty companyUnfortunately the patron did nothing that he is obligated to do , and assumed by sending us a bill without parts, labor, signature, authorizations noted on bill and so he cannot expect to be refunded more then he paidWe did try to help him but he became upset when he could not produce the needed information and partsUnfortunately now that he has had work done on he will no longer have a warranty from us, because it now is voided

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Firstly, To say that I was explained the charges before the vehicle was removed is simply not true! I was not explained ANYTHING beforehand, only AFTER pulling my car was I given a bill.Secondly, my vehicle was not on the road as they indicated it was "off the roadway", my car was completely off the road (see attached image as proof), so there was no need for immediate action and could have waited for me to handle the situation.Third, We had called friends at [redacted] who are trained to professionally assist cars stuck in the snow.Fourth, I actually submitted a complaint the next day, however it did not go through Revdex.com therefore I submitted it again today.Fifth, If they will look at the signed paperwork they will see that I signed "W PROTEST" - that's proof that I had rejected the charges right away!Finally, Even for the little work that was done, to charge me is simply outrageous and a RIP OFFIf they want to charge me I am willing to go till $but not more then that In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

we were informed on 10/ [redacted] of a problem with the vehicle after the vehicle was already in the shopWe did not tell consumer to have it repaired we asked for an estimate none was given , he was issued a warranty when he picked up his vehicle he did not call warranty company We did not ever state that we did a wrong repair, or did something illegal because we did not We asked for a estimate we did not receive one, we were not given any contact info until the repair was completedIf the patron will produce a credit card receipt for the amount paid, send us the parts, and any pictures he has of the faulty work he claims, we are more then happy to send the faulty parts to our supplier for credit and if it is defective parts we will be happy to refund him the money for the parts that are deemed defective and a resonable labor chargeThe bill he sent after work was done has no parts listed no time listed no form of payment listed In the industry every shop knows that if another shop has worked on a car before any work is done the shop should be notified before, he did not, and if he thought we did not return his call, why not call u s before the work is done, why not have the shop call usNo procedure was followed and yet we are willing to help him outattached is his bill from the other shop and his warranty information thank you

here are the facts to the complaint I have several emails from this customer calling me a rip off and moreHe was given all the info on the used engine we installed prior to our work, in fact , I had asked him to please take the vehicle somewhere else to be repaired because he was calling me a rip off before we startedThen he apologized and asked that we repair engineWE replaced it with a used engineTHe vehicle has high performance after market parts on it, including wires, plugs, manifolds, etc he did not want any of those changedhe wanted his old plugs etc transferedHe emailed me on NOv [redacted] he picked up vehicle on ***On [redacted] of nov he stated his ac harness for compressor missing,and his coolant was not changed, and that he stalled on road and almost crashed, said there were witnesses I immediately not only apologized but said I would send a tech up there to see if we did anything wrongHe did not want that said he could only have someone come at 4pm I explained that it would be late and dark and tech could not see at that pointso then I asked if he knew a shop in the area close to him he gave me his zip code and I made arrangement with mckay in troy spoke to dale and set up appointment he never contacted them I emailed him couple of times asking why he did not reply to themhe never answeredi asked for police report or name of witnesses that saw his accident if you have a crash there is usually a report, he would not furnish that infohe stated the first time he stalled he reinstalled his plug wires which we did not replace then said he replaced his cap and rotor again we did not replace and he did not want replacedthen he said his coolant wasnt changed was brown it would be impossible to not change coolant I explained to him and again said id come up or send him to shop nearby himfriday nov [redacted] he called and said he died on thruway we are not authorized on that part of thruway to tow so I told him to have it towed and let me know where it is and I will call, we called friday they did not look at it shop saidwe called today and said the engine was siezed so we immediately said we would pay for the charges there , send a truck up and replaced the engine and deliver it back to him all at no chargehe called phone call was tapped with him being aware of that call, he refused unless we paid for his rental I explained we could not do that, but id do what I saidhis invoice clearly states it has to be brought back to our shop for warranty as is done in the industryi then called him back on nov [redacted] at am to tell him I would indeed pay for his rental I left a message on his machine because he did not pick up phone.so I really do not know what else I can do, we do not make the parts we install them,if a part is defective it does not make our work unsatisfactory or to be threatened repeatedly with writing bad reviews -i have sent all of this info to our attorney now because he has told us he does not want us to touch his truck -i have helped him each step of the way never did I not try to help he does not want my helpwe did nothing to let him feel we would not stand behind our work we have tried everything - he also told me in an email that he has been ripped off by other shops-but we have not done sohis ac was not removed by us but again I was willing to travel over hours away to look at and take care of- I was willing to pay his charges today and tow this vehicle back here I cannot help someone who does not want my help- I have his invoice signed that any warranty work has to be brought back to jans med a car for warranty or it is void I do not know what else to do to help him I have tried over and over
