Total scam! I am notifying the TV programs who are promoting this company

Edermwrinkle has charged me $89.71 for wrinkle cream. I understood that I would only be charged for shipping/handlng of $6.77 of which my credit card
I saw that a new wrinkle cream was being advertised on television on Kelly and Ryan show. The only cost was shipping/handling of $6.77 of which my credit card paid. This was charged on 08/02/2020. Now, I have a pending charge of $89.71 for the wrinkle cream of which I did not order. On Kelly and Ryan show she stated only charge is shipping/handling of $6.77 of which my card paid. I refuse to pay for this cream and I will be more than glad to return it if I am provided with the correct mailing address.

Desired Outcome

I request that the Business, Avederm-Wrinkle credit my card for $89.71. Again, the only reason I ordered it was because it was stated only charge is $6.77. Please let me know what I need to do. I am a Senior Citizen and live on a fixed income. I will be glad to send it back if I am provided their address. I have notified my credit card company to now pay the $89.71. I am an upset, furious female at the moment. I can't believe businesses can do this to people. It must be stopped some way and some how.

Not only did not agree to subscription, but have been charged twice with no product arriving at all.
Answered ad for free shipping and discounted pricing. There was no indication that it was a monthly subscription! Not only have I NOT received any product, but my account has been charged TWICE for 89 dollars and change. I would like to have my money refunded completely

Desired Outcome

I want a complete refund for the two charges against my account.....they can KEEP their product!!!

Customer Response • Sep 24, 2020

They finally returned my money, but not until I threatened a law suit, and a complaint filed with you, the Revdex.com! Thank you for the attempt on my behalf....I'm CERTAIN you will have future complaints against them!!
Thank you

I observed a advertisement on the web that stated a free sample of lotion I payed the postage in 30 days I checked my bank account they took out 89.71
the problem June 29th when I checked my bank statement,
payment amount 89.71,
date the company took it out of my checking account 06-29-2020
I payed the postage of 18.00 from my debit card (wells Fargo)
the company said they would give me 60.00 back however I would want the whole $89.71 back in my checking account

Desired Outcome

I want the remainder of my $89.71 , and that is $20.71 back in my checking account

Accepted trial for shipping only, then was charged outrageous price for product
After accepting a trial if the wrinkle cream and eye serum for the price if shipping in 6-8-20, my credit card was charged $89.71 and $88.52 for the 2 products in 06-33. I called and they claim I had 14 days to cancel subscription (which I never knowingly agreed to). The charge is for the two products I already received. Told them this was unacceptable. They first offered a refund if $80. Again this was unacceptable. After a period of waiting they came back and told me they would credit my credit card for $70/product. Total credit $140. The remaining $38.23 is on me. Their sales tactic is very misconceiving.

Desired Outcome

Since I was led to believe I was only paying shipment to receive a trial if their product, I don't feel I should be charged anything as I didn't request any further shipments

Has been charging my bank account monthly since January 2020. Did not authorize this, I am requesting a refund. Please help me to collect the money.
1-11-2020 $89.71 and $88.52
2-11-2020. $89.71 and 88.52
3-13-2020 $89.71 and $88.52
4-13-2020 $89.71 and $88.52 are the charges to my bank card.

Desired Outcome

Refund all charges

they claim to charge u a one time charge of the shipping. And now I'm being charged the full price of $88.52 and $89.71 for another order
I was supposed to just be paying a one time charge of shipping for the nutrax cbd oil and nutrax cbd pills I ordered. That they did. But now not even a month later they are charging me full price for a second order that I did not authorize. And I would like a full refund of the $88.52 and the $89.71 charges they put on my card and no further contact by the company I don't want anymore of their products or be charged for them either

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund of both charges and also for them to never charge me again I do not want any further products from them

Customer Response • Apr 17, 2020

They have responded to me and have given me a complete refund of my money the claim thru Revdex.com can be dropped. I told them that I contacted the Revdex.com and they took care of it right after I told them that

I have not bought this product. I do not know how they got my credit card number. I have tried to contact them but they do not respond.
I have cancelled my credit card. They are still trying to bill me. I have asked them to send me proof of purchase. They still have not to date.

Desired Outcome

How did they get my credit card number and to make sure this does not go on my credit report.

I totally agree with Maria G. Same experience!

On January 12, 2019 I requested the free cream sample, which I received, this was a correct charge for shipping & handling $ 5.79, but on Jan 30, 2019 I was overcharged $87.50. I didn't order a new product or received. What is the reason for this overcharge?

have been billed for an item that was to be sent for free.
On 11/08/2018 I responded to a online offer of a free trial of Meghan Markle's new face creme, ElyraDerm from AvedermWrinkle.com. I was to pay 5.79 for postage. Using my XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX *** credit card # XXXX-XXXX-XXXX***. I received the sample. The $5.79 charge (ref #: 3249) appeared on my Nov. 20 *** statement. It was paid in full.

The Dec. 20 *** (***) statement arrived showing an amount of $87.50 which I have also paid unfortunately. In filing my statement I realized I did not know what the charge was for although the name seemed familiar so I check the 11/20 statement.

I realized that it was the same company and that the sample was advertised as free except for postage. I decided to check Revdex.com and found that this company is doing this to many, many people.

I would like the 87.50 amount issue to me

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund of the 87.50.

I purchased Avederm Wrinkle and Avederm Eye products totaling $10.57. On my credit statement I am being charged 3 additional charges totaling $182.62.
On September 16, I purchased Avederm-Wrinkle and Avederm-Eye from an internet advertisement through Shark Tank which had the price for $5.79 and $4.78. The website kicked me out as I was submitting my purchase and did not know it went through until it went through on my credit card and sent a confirmation detailing a purchase for $5.79 and $4.78. When I received my credit card statement, I have two charges on October 4 for $87.50 and $85.20 and a third transaction on October 16 of $9.95. I contacted the bank and they were able to dispute the charges of $87.50 and $9.95. I am still responsible for the $85.20 so I contacted Avederm through the number the bank provided. The person stated that I had to discuss it with the bank and would not talk to me. I have not received any emails from Avederm detailing the additional charges or confirmation of additional charges. Avederm never stated that this was a trial or a membership and I was never informed. The website listed the products at the price I purchased it at initially.

Desired Outcome

I want a complete credit to my credit card of the $85.20 and to inform customers on what they are agreeing to. I would be glad to send product back.

This is an absolute and total SCAM.... beware!!!!

This company used deceptive practices to lure me into paying $85 per month for a product that I thought was a one-time only purchase for $9.95.
In September, I signed up through a Facebook ad for Avederm wrinkle cream. I thought I was paying $9.95 for a one-time order. Somewhere in the fine print, however, was verbiage stating that if I didn't cancel my subscription (I didn't know I had subscribed!) within 14 days, I would be billed full price each month. In fact, I was billed $85.20 the first month, and $87.50 for a second delivery that I just received. I didn't notice these charges on my Master Card until today. In addition, there was apparently a box I was supposed to check off if I didn't want to receive a make-up video for $9.95 each month. This was billed to me by a different company, Slinker Make-up. I called Avederm and they agreed to adjust only $140 of the $172.70 that I was billed, and cancelled my subscription. I feel that I should be responsible only for one month of the product at $9.95. Upon calling Slinker, they also cancelled my subscription and will refund the $9.95 that I have been billed thus far. I have no email documentation to support the order. At the very least, I'd like to warn other consumers of their deceptive practices.

Desired Outcome

Force both companies to be upfront with consumers and prominently display the trial period and the fact that there are repercussions for customers who do not call to cancel. I also feel that I should only pay Avederm for one month of the product, what I thought I ordered. Total billed - $172.70 Minus promised credit of $140 = $32.70 Minus cost for one month of product $9.95 = $22.75

Ave Derm-Wrinkle Response • Nov 30, 2018

Ms.,

When you order on our website you must agree to the terms and conditions which state that after 14 days + 4 days of shipping you will be charged for the bottles if you do not call to cancel and return the product.

https://www.avecreme-antiage.com/
https://www.avecreme-antiage.com/terms

Your trial started when you ordered the products on 09/05/2018 which you paid shipping and handling fees of $5.79 (Wrinkle Cream) and $4.78 (Eye Serum). Your trial ended on 09/22/2018, in which we didn't receive any call from you thus, your account has been kept active.

We have cancelled your AVE CREME account when you called last 11/16/2018 and there has been no further charges on your account under AVE CREME brands. A refund of $140 as a ONE TIME courtesy was also processed.

Unfortunately the $9.95 charge comes from a different company and you will have to verify and confirm the charges with them.

Do not hesitate to contact us at 800-260-9856 if you have further questions or concerns.

I PURCHASED SKIN CREAM WHICH REQUIRED ME TO PAY SHIPPING ONLY. AFTER RECEIVING THE COMPANY CHARGED ME THE NEXT MONTH FOR A SUBSCRIPTION I DIDN'T ORDER
I PURCHASED SKIN AND EYE CREAM WHICH I ONLY HAD TO PAY FOR SHIPPING. $5.79 FOR ONE AND $4.78 FOR THE EYE CREAM. I WAS CHARGED SHIPPING FOR BOTH ITEMS WHICH WERE SHIPPED IN THE SAME BOX. I NEVER ORDERED OR PURCHASED A SUBSCRIPTION

Desired Outcome

INFORM THE CUSTOMER OF WHAT THEY ARE RECEIVING AND NOT JUST CHARGE THEM AND GIVE THEM WHAT YOU WANT

Customer Response • Oct 22, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Yes, I do wish to be refunded the full amount due to the confusion. I no longer have that card. They can either send a check or I can give them my new card number

I ordered the Avederm-Wrinkle and Avederm-Eye products from an internet advertisement that indicated I would only pay shipping/handling for each item ($5.79 and $4.78). I received the products and now on this month's credit card statement I was charged $87.50 and $85.20 for the items. I called to tell them I only received the original products and did not want a subscription. I was told that the products were not trials, but a purchase that if I didn't want, I would need to contact them within 14 days of obtaining the product. Since I explained I was not aware of that I was offered $100.00 credit on my charge card, I told her I wanted the whole amounts credited. After a brief hold she came back on and told me that she could credit me $130.00. I again indicated I wanted the full credit, but did agree to the $130.00 and told her I was contacting the Revdex.com. After that she said she no longer was able to credit my account any amount and would only cancel my membership and if I did receive and credit it would be through the Revdex.com intervention or legal actions.
Product_Or_Service: Avederm - Wrinkly and Avederm - Eye

Desired Outcome

Billing Adjustment I want a complete credit to my credit card of the $87.50 and $85.20. I have also contacted Cardmember Services/*** with this request.

To resolve this case, we have processed a full refund for the charges on 08/17/18 $85.20 (eye serum) and $87.50 (wrinle cream) as of today 10/04/18, in that way the refund will be in your account within 3-5 business days.

Thank you!

Customer Response • Oct 06, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accept the refund, which is what I wanted. I again emphasize that I did NOT order from their website, but from an Internet "pop up" ad that has appeared again on my computer about a week ago and that ad says nothing about a 14 day trial or a subscription - neither did the box in which the products arrived. Therefore it seems that another party must be obtaining and sending these products to potential customers for the main company. Thank you for your assistance and the results of that assistance.

Customer Response • Nov 13, 2018

Hi,

Today I received my *** statement from 10/3/18-11/1/18 and I did NOT receive the credit I was told the company was giving me within 3-5 business days from 10/4/18.

Although I did accept the resolution to the above complaint, what is my recourse now that I never did receive the credit I was promised?

Sincerely,

***

I placed an order for AVE Anti-aging crème & AVE Advanced Eye Serum on or about 7/4/2018 at which time the company charged $5.79 and $4.76 respectively to my bank account. On 7/21/2018 & 7/28/2018, the company (without my permission) charged my account $87.50 & $27.26. When I placed my order, their advertisement implied that this was the COST for the products & mentioned NOTHING about being charged later. Upon checking the status of my bank account, I noticed the additional charges and contacted the company and was told that the first two charges were for shipping & handling. As I continued my displeasure with their business practices, the representative rudely placed me on hold & eventually hung up the call.

I would like to report this company's misleading advertisements, billing tactics, and their poor customer service!
