Review: Was contacted about a special program to help me get back on track with my payments. I was able to pay a portion every month to get my account back in good graces. I was never notified before joining this program that while I was making $65 payments every month to get caught up; that I would also be assessed a $35 late payment fee for the three months of the program. Furious at the fact that this was not explained at all, and that people are getting scammed into joining this program while still being charged outrageously. So for the three month duration of the program, I will pay $195, while being charged $105 in fees. None of this makes sense except to give them a chance to make more money.Desired Settlement: Review of their program and the double charging on those in the program as well as making sure that EVERY person extended the offer of this program gets the full explanation and understanding that while they are paying to get caught up they are actually being charged about 80% of what they are paying. I would ideally like a reversal of the two late payment fees that I have been assessed.
