Review: I received a new car stereo from my husband for Christmas. He prepaid Avenue Sound to do the installation on my SUV. I brought my car to them on 1/**/14. After having my vehicle for 12 hours, they called to say it was ready. Upon arriving at the store, they realized the job was done incorrectly as they were showing my husband and I how to use the stereo. My phone would not properly connect, and my satellite radio ( which I pay a subscription for) was not working. They informed us they were not sure how to fix this, but would find out and we would hear from them. After a week, we still did not hear from them and it was clear they forgot about us when my husband called. They said they would have an answer for us and we scheduled another date for my car to be serviced. Again, Avenue Sound had my car most of the day and when we picked up my car they told us they resolved the issue. They did not. The satellite radio is not working. It does not show the information that is available for the radio, and the only thing that works were my presets. I can't scan or look for other channels because it comes in static Spanish speaking radio stations. This has been very frustrating as my husband paid them a great deal of money for a job that has still not been done correctly and I'm now paying for satellite radio that I can't use.Desired Settlement: I would like for the job to be done correctly and I also think at this point we are owed monetary compensation for the job that hasn't been done and the fact that I have had to pay for satellite radio I can't use due to their negligence. They appear to be unable to complete this job, so I would rather them be honest about that, but I don't think we are responsible for paying out of pocket to another company for the job that should have already been done.

Review: Attempted to purchase two items, but the website wasn't providing order confirmation. I contacted the store via phone, gave my personal and payment information, but they would not take a phone order. Instead, I was told they work on the website overnight and to check it the following day. When I checked, the items were doubled in price--more expensive than I can purchase elsewhere. This is during a supposed year-end clearance blow-out sale. When I contacted the store the second time, they were not willing to honor the price that was advertised, even though there was clear offer and acceptance. I received a short answer and the chat was then ended by them--I had to reopen it for clarification.Desired Settlement: Receive the items for the price they were advertised as.
