A review of Ms. [redacted] on-line replacement order # [redacted] indicates a... refund for the full amount of $22.87 was processed on 04/21/15. A full refund of $44.63 for the original order # [redacted] was processed on 4/29/15. On 03/09/2015 on-line services was notified by Ms. [redacted] that she did not receive her package for order # [redacted] . We regret the refund could not be processed expeditiously in this particular situation. Per the [redacted] tracking system the package was delivered by the [redacted] on 03/03/2015 to the addressee. When it is indicated that a package has been delivered a claim is filed with the carrier; in this case the [redacted] . As well, attempts are made to locate the package and get it to the customer prior to issuing a refund. We are grateful for the opportunity to address our customer’s needs. I just wanted to send an update to my recent complaint. After posting mycomplaint on Avenue.com's website, they have left me a message saying theywill refund my money. As long as the refund comes through as promised, Iwill be satisfied. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:The business already stated this. This is not an acceptable response to a customer. They have a responsibility to their buyers, to expect quality merchandise and they are not providing it. Anyone can say "We have a policy...." It is a boiler-plate response and does not pertain to this complaint. People have the right to expect quality when they invest in a sixty dollar garment. It should not break down in two months of normal wear. It should not, as in this case stretch out abnormally and start t even further wear down by pilling. Others have also stated this online in reviews and I am sure they see it and are aware. They just don't care. This is a corporation who has been around for a long time. They should be ashamed of themselves. They obviously don't want to start a precedent by offering a customer any type of credit for poor quality merchandise and they think they are immune to this responsibility for some reason. They are obviously not going to give in and that is why I am adamant in my complaint as well. I threw my money away and will never shop here again and will encourage others not to as well.

This is in response to the complaint filed by [redacted] Complaint # [redacted]. Avenue has a policy regarding the return of worn merchandise. As per our posted policy Returns/Exchanges will be accepted within 60 days, however, items must be unworn, unwashed and have the original tickets. As...

per Ms. [redacted] complaint she has spoken with both our District Sales Manager and our Regional Sales Director. Pursuant to our policy the return was denied by both individuals as well as the local store. The item was purchased in February and Ms. [redacted] contacted her local store on or about May 12, 2015. Ms. [redacted] has been in possession and had use of the product since February therefore; we will not be accepting the item back. We are grateful for the opportunity to address our customer’s needs. On-line services reviewed the original and subsequent order. It was found the customer was owed the difference between the original price charged for the jacket and the price charged on the second order. In addition shipping was also due to the customer.
