Review: When I first started the total renovation on my home I hired Avey Electric to install new wiring and reroute older wiring...at first [redacted] the owner was terrific with my ability to communicate with him, the garage electric installation went extremely well then one of the bathrooms, again excellent...then when the major work was to be done with the ceilings and walls all exposed [redacted] disappeared and had [redacted] do the work. I immediately questioned [redacted]'s work as outlets weren't aligned and installed incorrectly, they had to be changed and fixed. I was installing a sliding glass door in the dining room for outside access, and a lighhtswitch for the outside lights had to be moved...now with the soffits all sided, the interior sheet rocked finished and painted I went to install the outside lights...we immediately realized that there was no power to the outside boxes...just wiring...I've been told that to now fix this...all of the soffit siding has to be removed, along with all of the ceiling sheetrock in the dining room and kitchen as well as possibly walls in both rooms. The cost of this surpasses $5,000 not to mentioned the mess that I now have to experience.Desired Settlement: I would never hire Avey again, but will have to hire a more professional electrician to do the job that Avey was paid to do, along with a contractor who will have to demo the house and then refinish and paint again. This will cost me $5000 and I feel that Avey Electric should be paying for it as they didn't properly install the wiring in the first place. My house needs to be whole again...

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Avey Electric Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved becauseThe [redacted] of Avey electric, [redacted] called me and requested that we solve the issue. That was last week, and he told me he would contact me this week come over and resolve the problem. To this writing it is Wednesday [redacted] has not called nor has he come to my home.
