This letter
will serve as the written response of Quick Auto, Inc
("Quick Auto") to the complaint filed by Mr***To
the extent that the complaint contains allegations directed at Quick
Auto, Quick Auto denies any such allegations, but provides the following
information in the hopes of
resolving the underlying issues.On or about October 23, 2017, Mr*** purchased a
Ford Fiesta from Quick Auto in Highland, IndianaThe
purchase included an month/18,mile limited warranty.In his complaint, Mr***
correctly states that he had mechanical issues with the vehicle
when he purchased itThat is correctThe vehicle was taken to *** ***
and the initial repairs were completedThe warranty
paid for those repairs.Mr*** then had an additional mechanical issue with
the vehicleMr*** took the vehicle back to D&L for
additional workUnfortunately, the work that needs to be completed cannot be
completed by D&L, it must be done by a Ford dealerFortunately for Mr
***, it appears that the work is under the original
manufacturer's warranty and may be at no cost to himThis information was
communicated to Mr***, but Quick Auto does not know if Mr*** has
followed up and taken the vehicle to be repaired.Quick
Auto understands that from time to time, used vehicles have issues and repairs
that need to be addressedQuick Auto believes that this
situation can be resolved if Mr*** simply follows through
with the recommendation to have the repairs completed at a Ford dealershipIf
there remains other work to be completed after that, Quick Auto is certainly
open to those discussions
