Aviation Technology Louisville Reviews (2)

I sent my Meridian to Aviation Technology for its annual inspection and a prop overhaul It was to be there for weeks They had it for weeks and the bill was $39,total It was supposed to have been $22, They said the plane was ready to go after weeks When we went to take off the first time, it could not get enough power to lift off Fortunately we recognized it and aborted This aircraft is on a Part certificate Someone could have been killed It had no fuel starvation issues before Aviation Technology started working on it, yet I get a second invoice for $16,and loss of my plane for more weeks In addition, a fuel panel door was not sealed properly When it was first fueled, the tank leaked Again, it was fine when it went in An employee even said it blew out when the tank was pressurized I get a third invoice on that for over $1, They took no responsibility for anything and continue to charge me for a perfectly good airplane when it arrived The owner even told me the plane was fine when it came and they wanted it safe when it left Several thousand dollars later due to incompetence

I sent my Meridian to Aviation Technology for its annual inspection and a prop overhaul. It was to be there for 2 weeks.
They had it for 9 weeks and the bill was $39,000 total. It was supposed to have been $22,000. They said the plane was ready to go after 6 weeks. When we went to take off the first time, it could not get enough power to lift off. Fortunately we recognized it and aborted. This aircraft is on a Part 135 certificate. Someone could have been killed. It had no fuel starvation issues before Aviation Technology started working on it, yet I get a second invoice for $16,000 and loss of my plane for 3 more weeks. In addition, a fuel panel door was not sealed properly. When it was first fueled, the tank leaked. Again, it was fine when it went in. An employee even said it blew out when the tank was pressurized. I get a third invoice on that for over $1,000.
They took no responsibility for anything and continue to charge me for a perfectly good airplane when it arrived. The owner even told me the plane was fine when it came and they wanted it safe when it left. Several thousand dollars later due to incompetence.
