Dear [redacted],
This letter is necessitated due to the false complaint filed by [redacted]. This passenger purchased a ticket on Nov. *, 2013. This ticket was a non-refundable ticket and I told the passenger this at the time of the purchase.. She called back a few days...

later and said that she did not want to travel and wanted her money back. [redacted], stated that she had legal matters that prevented her from leaving the country and going to her home country. We have the letter from the US Department of Homeland Security which [redacted] gave to me and informed me that due to her immigration status she could not travel and wanted her money back. At that time I again informed her that the ticket was non-refundable and only under special circu**tances such as the death of an immediate family member, could we make a special request to the airline to refund her money. I told her that the airline does not refund tickets because the passenger has immigration issues. The passenger then told me that she had a sister who suddenly died and to ask the airline to refund her money. I informed her that without a death certificate, I could not ask the airline for a request to refund this ticket due to the death of her immediate family member. Since that time, the passenger has been continually harassing me asking that her money be refunded. I informed the passenger many many times, that the ticket is non refundable and I need a copy of the death certificate if in fact her sister really did die. Finally on Feb. **, the passenger emailed me a death certificate. I immediately sent the death certificate copy to the airline. The airline responded that this is not acceptable in that the airline needs an official death certificate. After I told the [redacted], after one month - on March ** - she sent another death certificate. I sent this death certificate to the airline as well. They again rejected this death certificate in that it was not official. I informed the passenger that the airline is not accepting this document. She continued to call me many many times, and being abusive stating she wanted her money back now.
We are vehemently denying any fraud that we have committed. It is in fact [redacted] who is committing fraud. The original reason she gave us for wanting her ticket refunded was immigration issues. After being told that the airline does not refund tickets based on immigration proble**, then suddenly "a dead sister" came up and she has sent us two different types of death certificates. We have the letter that [redacted] gave us from the Department of Homeland Security which was the initial reason that she could not travel. We also have a copy of the death certificate [redacted] sent us and which the airline did not accept and the response from the airline stating they could not accept this.
We take these false allegations of fraud very seriously and if [redacted], continues to make false fraud charges against us, we will take legal action.
Please let me know if you need further clarification.
Thank you.

I would like to once again state that it is [redacted] who is lying. She purchased a non-refundable ticket from our office. At the time of the purchase she was told that the tickets were non-refundable. After purchasing the ticket, a few days later she received a letter from the Department of Homeland Security stating that she had problems with her immigration status. Immediately upon receiving the letter, [redacted] faxed the letter to us. In that letter, in her own handwriting she wrote that she could not travel due to her immigration status. I again informed her, that the ticket was non-refundable. She asked if there was any way that this ticket could be refunded. I informed her that only in the case of an immediate family member's death, the airline might refund the ticket. [redacted] then said to request a refund from the airline because her sister died. I informed her that without a death certificate, I could not request a refu nd. For almost 4 month, [redacted] kept on calling me and harassing me and being verbally abusive. Each time I told her the same thing - that without the death certificate, I could not request a refund. Finally after 4 months, she emailed me a death certificate. I immediately sent the death certificate copy to the airline. The airline did not accept that in that they did not believe that it was a genuine death certificate. [redacted] also received an email directly from the airline that this death certificate was not official. She then sent another death certificate which again the airline did not accept. She has changed her story 3 times. First she could not travel due to her immigration status. Then she could not travel due to the death of her sister which she could never prove to the airline. Now she is stating that she never authorized the charges. This is completely false. She absolutely authorized the charge .[redacted]'s only reason for wanting to cancel her ticket was because of her immigration status. That was the first document she faxed to me as soon as she received it. As for her harassing me and calling me names and insulting my age - it is completely uncalled for - being an ambassador's daughter she should know better! I have not received anything regarding the charge back. Once I receive the documents, I will fight the charges as they are absolutely valid. [redacted]

Review: I, [redacted] called into Aviation Tours travel agency back in November, 2013 and spoke with [redacted], who quoted me an airfare price but state they can only guarantee the price if a debit or credit card is provided to hold for 48hrs but the card will not be charged until I call them back and give them authorization. I remember calling back 2 days later advising [redacted] that my sister past away on 11/*/13 and I no longer need the ticket because I could no longer travel. He advised me that my card was already charged but he will contact the airline and they will refund me back my money and it will go back into my card. I have been calling the travel agency each week since November about my refund and [redacted] has been giving me the run around and different sorts of excuses. He requested a death certificate which was fax over a month ago to him and until now I am waiting on my refund of $1404.89 which was charged on 11/**/13. Last time I called Aviation tour travel agency and spoke to [redacted] was on 03/**/14 and he advised me he left the airline a message and is waiting on a response back for my refund, I advised him I was just going to file a dispute with my bank because I dont think it should take months for a refund to be process, He told me to just wait and that he will get back with me, From now on everytime I call the agency, they no longer answer my calls or respond to my emails. This agency is a Fraud and I want them to refund me back my money.Travel Agency InfoAviation Tours inc[redacted]Tel:###-###-####Fax: ###-###-####Contact person: [redacted]Desired Settlement: I just want my full refund of $1404.89 because my charge should have never been charged and even after they charged my card, they have been telling me to submit death certificate of my sister, which I did and still now, nothing has been resolved

He never had an answer, all he will say is he is waiting on the airline or he left them a message. My card was charged $1404.89 and I guess they just wanted me to just forget about the refund. My cousin had the same issues with aviaion tours agency 2yrs about when travelling to Gambia and if I would have know I will have never contacted the agency in the first place. I filed a complain throught my bank and the bank said the airline has nothing to do with my refund since I did not provide my card infomation to the airline, the travel agency is the one responsible for refunding me back my money. The bank agreed to refund me the full refund of $1404.89 on 4/*/14 and now I will let them deal with the agency from there. I did receive my refund my refund from my financial institute on 4/*/14.

If calling and asking abou the status of my refund is harassing him, he definitely needs to look up the meaning of harassment. I WAS NEVER TOLD THE TICKET IS A NON REFUNDABLE TICKET, because I would have never gave him my information to secure a price for 48hrs for a non refundable ticket. This refund has nothing to do with what he is basing the issue on. When I told him about my sister's passing on 11/*/13, he said he will tell the airline, and is waiting on a response from the airline. Even the airline should know [redacted] is lying, how can I call you about a death and now you are trying to use something different to cover your behind. Its sad that an old man his age will be lying about something like this, [redacted] can scam his other clients but he cannot scam me, he even wanted me to give him cash instead of my credit card and am glad I never gave him cash. [redacted] is lying in all of his statements and he is a big scam. [redacted] gave me a phone number to contact one of the reps at the airline, because he state he was trying to help me but the airline was being difficult and when I called the guy who later inform me that they do not talk to passengers and that I need to deal with the airline. Once I received the death certificate from Gambia I emailed it over to [redacted], I also included my immigration paperwork hoping with that included they will understand, [redacted] and I never discussed about immigration matter until the email was send to him back in March.

Common sense should have told him I dont have to use the ticket, but he is a pathological liar who is making up stories to cover his sorry behind. [redacted] NEED TO STOP SCAMING PEOPLE AND STOP LYING, OLD MEN DON'T LIE. Admit to your faults and stop lying.
