Avista Home Retention PC

Review: I contacted Avista about my loan modification, I was told they would work with [redacted] Mortgage about my loan. The first guy I talked to was slick and promised me the moon, with all the miracles they could perform. How they know the laws and can't get a better deal than I could alone. I just got a letter from [redacted] saying I have been approved asking for payment in two weeks, which is higher than when I started. I contacted Avista to see why they didn't notify me about the agreement, which I thought I would be involved in. I got back a rude response that they were done and my file was closed on the 17th of November. Also if I contact them again they will consider it harassment and file suit. I have a copy of the email that was sent to me. I feel I paid 3000.00 for nothing. I thought with a modification we had to resign lender papers?Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my money, I can see why we can't pay by check and have to send deposits in, I have all the receipts to prove payment. They did nothing they said they would do and I am out 3000.00 Merry Christmas
