I purchased a pellet stove from avon stove the best most expensive stove he hadthe stove stopped working the first time I used it the stove would not run and would go out and then it would take to hours to complete a cool down cyclei brought the stove back for repair and they had the stove for months when I got the stove back it was missing parts and it took another month for avon to find them and send them to me the first time I used it it stopped working this stove has a computer and a phone connection to trouble shoot problems and have never been asked to connect ..Ipaid $to avon stove that NEVER worked and all I got was a six month run around and a tuff guy attitude from this company and a $dollar boat anchor

You were offered through e-mail nearly $1000.00...
off of the [redacted] pellet stove. The second e-mail was my surmising that with the NYSERDA program that YOU advised me about it would appear that you would receive another $1000.00 credit. So my e-mail response was that the pellet stove would ultimately cost you around $2500.00 after your NYSERDA credit. When you phoned my store and said we should honor the price of $2500.00, it was explained that the sale price was $3525.00 and with the additional $1000.00 from the NYSERDA program, not from Avon Stove. You insisted that I should honor the $2500 and in all honesty that is less than I pay for the stove. I try to be fair and expect customers to give me the same courtesy. [redacted], the person who came to your home for the site check is not and has never been an installer. He was there to get first hand assessment of the installation and to verify how the stove would need to be properly vented. Once he reviewed the installation options the original venting option to exit through the wall was not optimal, and you would need to vent through the roof. That is why the installation cost increased. In your last e-mail to [redacted] you stated that you expect me to honor the $2500.00 and in another sentence you are again defaming and slandering my company on [redacted] etc. Pellet stoves ultimately require service and proper maintenance to work for the full life expectancy of the unit, which would require my store to warranty and or service your stove at some time in the future. With your extreme dislike for me and my company this would be an obstacle to our doing business. So I apologize for any misunderstanding and I will most likely refrain from e-mails other than for contact information, as this has been a teaching moment.
