A&W has proven twice to me that the older and lower displayed prices on their menu board and coupons will not be honoured. Twice in one week and at two different locations in Saskatoon, I found out I was charged more money because of a price change. When I inquired as to why I was not given the menu board price, I was told that they couldn't do that. The law states that a lower displayed price must be honoured and A&W is in total denial of that fact. When I inquired about a refund of the difference, the manager/supervisor asked me if everyone came back with that question asking for a refund and then if they were supposed to refund everyone that did so?
Refund I would prefer a full monetary refund and if that's not possible then a refund of the difference will suffice.
I left the receipt with the manager but it was not returned to me. I also took a picture of the menu board where the price is clearly visible what I should have been.
Just to clarify, there was no coupon necessary for the transaction. Just lower price on the menu board.
The prices on our menu board has been updated that same day, we were experiencing some technical difficulties at the time because of a system update for a promotion. We always honor the prices on our menu boards and make sure they are always up to date. Please come to the restaurant and we will gladly issue a full refund of the items ordered. Thank you.

I was contacted by management today and was offered a refund which I was originally denied at the time of being charged the wrong price. I am satisfied with management's response and will accept the refund offered to me.
