Bait and Switch of Insurance Premium Quoted.

On or about February 14, 2012, [redacted] VP at Bucci Insurance quoted an annual premium

of $4496 for auto insurance through Met Life. This policy included added my son who is 17 and

had recetnly become licensed. Since the current auto policy would be renewed on 3/18/2012,

and after disccussing with [redacted], we decided my son would be added on at the renewal date, she

would need his License # , Drivers Ed certificate and Report prior to so that she could apply appropriate

disccount. On March 14th I faxd the required documents. [redacted] called my husband to advise that

our son had been added to policy. On 3/21/12 I recieved policy with an annual premium of $5478.

almost $1000 higher than quoted. On March 26th after numerous calls to [redacted] she advised rates went up. Since rate was significatly higher than quoted, I do not feel Bucci should have proceeded with added my son until she advised us and asked us if we wanted to proceed. She had the opportunity to do so when she called my husband to advise our son was added.

Along with the poor customer and lack of timely response, which has been the case with Bucci since we began dealing with them, we feel this is Bait and Switch. Had we known of the $1000 difference we would have continued shopping for insurance.
