I called AW Healthcare about transportation. explained to them that I was in a wheel chair and my transport chair (smaller than a wheel chair) would have to go with me. The only type of car I can get into is a sedan. My mobility is at minimum. (Bad shoulders I can't pull up). Bad hips I can't step up.
I cannot use a SUV it's too high. Therefore, I need a sedan. AW girl said she understood Sedan only!
10-7-14 RN Came and took my vitals I signed her paperwork and she took my $50.00 retainer check.
10-13-14: At 1:45 PM (15 min late) a large white SUV pulled into my drive. The driver said she was sorry she was late, but she got lost. She was given an address but no directions. The main problem was she wasn't driving a sedan. Lets try she said she kept trying to lift my leg push up in the rear, lift from the top and I was trying to help with pushes and pulls. I was in the seat I was lying on my left side and with a little more work I was sitting. That's when I learned her baby was due Nov 10th (Just to add to the worry)
When I came out of the DR's office my driver told me that while she was waiting, she called the aw office. She asked them why didn't tell her that I needed a sedan. She said The dispatcher told me that you had asked for a sedan only. but she saw me drive into the lot I a sedan a day or two ago so she didn't mention sedan to me.
10-16-14 I called AW healthcare to explain the situation of inadequate transportation on 10-13-14 and why I'm wanting a refund of my deposit of $50.00. Girl 1 sent me to girl 2 who sent me to the one in charge. I never refused to talk with her, I asked to talk with her. I started to tell her why I wanted my $50.00 deposit and she she couldn't see how I could expect a refund. "You shouldn't have tried to enter the SUV"

I will write off the $10.00 for the service we provided. I offered to talk with her but she refused to do so. She has called us again and we have provided services for her.

They are over charging me, and they want more for mileage that they did not drive. The drive was about 5 miles. I did not refuse to talk to their manager. I should not have to pay for mileage I did not use.
