Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was told by the repairman from the Cricket Box that he sees this problem all the time He told me that he would have a part ordered to fix the sofa Unless, the necessary part was available at the Cricket BoxIn regards to the sofa that we had prior, it was not the same quality of furniture It was also much older than less than one year If this was the case that our issue was not covered by warranty, why did Mr [redacted] say he would order the part He also stated that he would talk to the Lane salesperson He stated, that he usually doesn't have problems with Lane, but when he does they are hard to deal with As a paying customer this is not my problem In spite of a warranty a sofa should last longer than four months We have furniture that has lasted for many years There is no abuse or unusual wear and tear on the sofa We are no harder on our sofa than any other householdIf the sofa had broken in his store would he still feel the same way? This matter is not a warranty issue being that the part that is broken is due to misuse and/or abuse of the item therefore we are in no way obligated to repair/replace or refund for the item as she apparently seems to think. The employee of our business that viewed the piece also commented that the...

end of the reclining sofa that is damaged corresponds to the end of their prior sofa which we removed for them at time of delivery and was broken down with the entire arm falling off of it. Simply put the warranty from Lane only covers manufacturing defects.
