I bought a car 8 months ago. At that time I told them what I could afford and they sold me a car and paid the difference between my actual payment and what I could afford for eight months. They told me that in 8 months they would refinance and I would be able to keep my payments the same. I told them several times that I could not afford to keep the car if they could not do what they claimed. I emphasized that it would be a great hardship and that I really could only afford the initial agreed upon payment. The salesmen assured me that the payments would remain the same when refinanced after the 8 month period. They lied. The person I spoke with blamed it on people he said no longer worked there. He stated that, although he believed I was treated badly, it was not his fault. The dealership would not help me and while investigating refinancing on my own I have discovered that this is a very common unscrupulous practice. I was a nervous, single mom with limited resources purchasing a car for the first time on my own. They capitalized on that and they should be ashamed for taking advantage of me. I am now saddled with a car I cannot afford. Stay away from this dealership. This dealership represents everything people worry about when they think of buying a new car.
