Horrendous customer service and lack of accountability for repairs/service Highly recommend consideration of another repair service The company utilizes a call center and often customer does not receive a return call on repair status Parts ordered for repairs are not tracked and customer will receive no estimation on repair timeline Multiple appointments will be required as the technicians continue to identify system issues after the first part is ordered - lengthening not only the outage, but the timeline required for full repair Set your expectations as low as possible and expect 1-month repair, and likely they will then 'find' a new issue that requires a new untracked part order, and indefinite repair window Unacceptable

We hired this company to repair a problem with a home we own in Virginia Beach They half completed the job and never came back Service mechanical was hired to fix a heating problem with a rental property we own in Virginia Beach, VA on January 6th(we are currently stationed in Lemoore, CA) via our home warranty company Initially they were prompt in scheduling an appointment and visiting the property They told the tenants they would have to return to finish the job, but they never did I called them several times, as did my property manager, only to leave messages with an answering service and never receive a call back After a month of waiting for them to finish the repair, I had to call another company, and pay another deductible to have the repair completed

work not done correctly first time and shoddycompletley unknowledgable of what they are doing The repair done on first trip, was not brought to code I was charge with being given a break down of the charges It fail inspection by the city and they had to come back out they charged me an additonal charge and completly ruined my home I am still awaiting final inspection, but now I have to hire someone else to come and fix all the problems they caused for they are obviously no knowlegable of what they are doing

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! AC WENT DOWN AND THEY CAME OUT TO FIX ITTOLD US 7-BUSINESS DAYS BECAUSE THE MANUFACTURE HAS TO MAKE THE PARTSO WHEN THE 11TH DAY CAME AND NO CALL WE CALLED THEM, TO WHICH THEY SAID THEY CAN CONTROL THE MANUFACTUREI COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND HOWEVER A COURTESY CALL WOULD HAVE BEEN NICESO WHEN I STARTED ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT VARIOUS PARTS AND MODELS THEY WERE HESITANT TO TELL ME BECAUSE I WANTED TO KNOW FOR MYSELF SO I COULD CONTACT THE MANUFACTUREWE HAVE NOT HAD OUR AC UNIT WORKING FOR A MONTH NOW, AND JUST KEEP GETTING THE RUN AROUNDTHESE ARE THE HOTTEST DAYS IN MY HOUSE GETTING UP TO DEGREESAND THEY ACT LIKE IM BOTHERING THEM WHEN I ASK FOR STATUS UPDATESI THOUGHT THATS WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO ANYWAYSLOOKING AT OTHER PLACES I DONT KNOW WHY MY WARRANTY COMPANY GAVE ME A TRASH PLACE LIKE THIS ANYWAYS"C" GRADE??? Service Mechanical came on 6/19/for AC issueHave been approved to complete the work by homeowner's warrantee but won't return calls to do work
A request for service was made via email on 6/11/*** sent Service Mechanical of Tidewater, Incto diagnose the issue on 6/19/*** turned the repair over to *** for approvalWhen I had not heard from them, I checked on line and saw that a note had been made that they could not contact meI called both companies on 6/3/I left a message for *** *** and requested that they call meThere was no return call by *** *** My second call on 7/14/because there was a notation on my account on line that stated that *** were unable to contact meThere was no message and no evidence on my call history that *** had calledI was on hold for over minsand then told that *** had contacted the business and *** would call me that night after checking to see if the part was inWhile still on the phone with *** ***

Very disappointed in their service and customer service They did an incomplete job in installing my new unit It took weeks to get things straight and finally get the air conditioning running Only to find out come winter time, they forget to install the heat strips and had to spend a week with no heat And, I had to pay additional money to get the work done correctly Office manager is rude and disrespectful over the phone I would not recommend ever

We have a home warranty & our AC has broken down several times this summerUnfortunately SMT was the company picked to fix our problem by the warranty companyBut now we are on our third recall to fix the same problem- AC isn't blowing cold airScheduling service is horrendousWe get a call saying they'll come out on a day but no time frame is givenThen you can call back the morning of to get a 5-hour window they might show upWe waited an entire day for service & the technician finally showed up at 6:after we had left for a prior engagementWhen I explained that to *** in customer service when we rescheduled she made it sound like our fault even though they only responded when I called at 5:asking why no one had shown upThey never called the next day to reschedule- I suppose that is the customer's responsibility? I have a home warranty for my ac unit they were contracted by them to do a replacement on my unit it has been over weeks still not done

horriblethey came to work on my ac unitOne month later I am still without acTech worked on the unit for hoursFirst installed the new compressor which was their original diagnosisUnit still did not work so the tech replaced two other parts to no availHe also left trash around the unit and killed my grass with refrigerant oil, and grease all over the ac and siding of my houseAfter he couldn't get the unit to work he left and submitted a bogus diagnosis which I disputed with the home warranty companyI called service mechanical asking why they would submit such a ridiculous diagnosis on a year old unit The office person was extremely unprofessional and not willing to work with meShe also refused to give me another person to talk to and the address that they show online is a po box My home warranty company sent out another company for a second opimionI finally find out that the tech from service mechanical wired the compressor wrong

Our warranty company gave us this company's information to assist us with HVAc repairThe scheduler *** I believe her name was is horribleHow can this company allow such a RUDE individual to represent their business when dealing with customersAfter I had told her how RUDE she was a matter of a five-minute convo, she proceeded to mention how people make up things when they don't get the service they wantI also own business IF I EVER found out my employee in a Customer based company was speaking to people this way TRUST and believe me there *** would be out that door with another to take their placeAfter this conversation; checking the reviews on *** and *** it looks like I am far from the only one attesting to ***'s basic rude customer service skills I have no idea what their service is like because I can;t get past or want to get past the RUDE representativeIf she the owner's family that's even worse

I submitted a warranty claim through *** home *** and it was picked up by Service Mechanical of TidewaterIf you have a choice, don't use this company unless you want to be repeat dialed, talked down to, and hung up on by the office managerShe called me three times in a row without leaving a voicemail and then yelled at me and hung up when it told her that she should leave a voice mail rather than blowing up someone's phoneShe then told me to "get over it" because she apologized and hung up on my when I asked to speak to someone elseTheir customer service is lacking and clearly the "manager" needs more training

Service Mechanical of Tidewater advised us that we would have a new compressor for our HVAC unit within days of June 24, However today is July
On June 24, *** home *** sent out Service Mechanical of Tidewater to diagnose our HVAC issue for the second time their first visit was ended in misdiagnosesHowever upon the second visit we were told that the problem was the compressor and that within business days that the product should arriveAfter not hearing from the company for an entire week we went back to the insurance company only to be told that Service Mechanical could not locate the part and needed the help of themStill we were not notified of this issue and weeks continued to pass ** in the middle of the summerThey came to our property male employees and seen that my wife was pregnant and made no extra measures to ensure that this issue would be resolved in a timey matterVery disappointing
