I had nothing but problems with the transmission I exchanged at Awesome TransmissionI was first given the wrong transmissionIt bolted up, but did not have the correct way to center the bell housing resulting in broken flexplates ($350)Awesome transmission insisted it was the correct transmissionIt was only after going to a GM dealership and having it confirmed to be the wrong transmission would Awesome transmission give me a different transmissionAfter I received this transmission, it did not shift out of firstDropping the valve body, I found a missing check ballI bought a check ball, re-installed the valve body and then it shiftedAfter this, the torque converter supplied with the transmission went outIt has worked now for miles, but the truck now shakes while in gear (something it did not due before the trans was rebuilt)Overall, I made the hour round trip times, dropped the transmission times, spent $in flexplates and $in parts trying to pinpoint the cause of the shaking (starting engine without trans attached resulted in no shaking)There were countless hours spent removing and installing the trans, as well as problem solving the shaking, and no shift problemIn the end, it would have been cheaper for me to go to Automatic Transmission Design and have them build me a good quality trans, AND have them install itI was going to write this review earlier, but did not want to due it before my year warranty endedI was worried the trans would go out before that time and he would refuse to warranty it because of this review (torque converter went out in the 12th month)
