Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have evidentiary support that refutes the claims made by Alan L***, the owner of AWL Auto & TruckI have attached a timeline of events that support my claim in detail MrL [redacted] stated that several attempts to resolve the situation were made on the part of AWL Auto & Truck, however, he provided no written proof said attempts were madeI have received no written correspondence from either MrL [redacted] or AWL Auto & Truck stating that they were willing to help in any way with the repairs of the vehicleI called several times to AWL Auto & Truck to attempt to get any type of assistance with this as the vehicle malfunctioned not even hours after purchaseMy phone calls went ignored as did my email correspondenceThe one time I was able to get Mike N [redacted] on the phone, he stated that if I made two of my payments on time that they would give me $towards the cost of the repair of the transmissionI asked to have that in writing so that I knew it was binding and I could hold them to that, and the written agreement was never receivedI called periodically to attempt to speak with MrL [redacted] directly to try and resolve this issue and to get something in writing when a woman answered the phone and yelled at me and told me she would sue me for harassment, and that "He is going to give you all that he is going to give you so stop calling here." Shocked and appalled at the behavior of a so called 'business' I stated that I am just trying to get all of this resolved and it is hard to do so when no one will speak to meThe woman again stated that I needed to stop calling and ended the phone conversation My number has since been blocked and I am unable to reach anyone at AWL Auto & Truck MrL [redacted] also stated that he was the previous owner of the vehicle and had it for years prior to my ownership, and that in his time as the owner he experienced no transmission issuesThen as the owner of this vehicle I would be remiss to say that there is no way MrL [redacted] was unaware of the mechanical issues the car faced, as he admittedly told me of a fuel line issue that he knew of and claimed to have fixedAdditionally, there is no chance of MrL [redacted] owning the vehicle in question years and not knowing of the national recall on this vehicle model for the transmission failuresFurthermore, MrL [redacted] stated that I test drove the vehicle twice, which is incorrect as I only had the opportunity to test drive the vehicle one time, and the second time I was behind the wheel of the vehicle was the date of purchaseWhich on that date, the battery was completely dead and the check engine light was onI was assured by Mike N [redacted] that the check engine light was on due to the battery needing to be replacedThe battery was replaced at cost to AWL Auto & Truck, however, that did not solve the issue of the check engine light as we now know MrL [redacted] further stated in his claim that he offered to cancel the financing of the vehicle, which was never something that was put on the tableAt the advice of my mother, I called the financing company myself to see if they had a mediator that could work to help with the situation as AWL Auto & Truck were refusing to help in any way, or take the car back or place me in a different vehicle which were all things I asked of them during this mediation process through [redacted] (the financing company)After all of the evidence was presented to [redacted] , it was their recommendation to cancel the financing on the vehicleI have the letter from [redacted] to corroborate my previous statement, and can provide that to you at any timeIn terms of the warranty that was offered at the time of purchase, it was never explained to me the cost breakdown of said warrantyI was required to put down a hefty amount of money for the down payment of the vehicle and could not afford to pay the additional $for the warrantyI proceeded with the purchase in good faith as I believed that the owner and employees of AWL Auto & Truck were upstanding, and were not steering me in the wrong directionAccording to the reviews from previous customers the warranty that I could have purchased would not have covered the cost of the repairs to the vehicle in questionI would also like to point out that this is not the first occurrence of Awl Auto & Truck misrepresenting their services and practicing deceptive business practicesIf you were to look on their reviews section of their Facebook page, you will find that this is not the first time they have done this to a customerIt is sad and unfortunate, that a small business would practice these predatory and deceptive business practices Regards, [redacted] ***

my possessionThe customer had test drove the vehicle on two different occasions and never had a complaintShe was extremely pleased with its conditionThe customer was offered a Vehicle Service Contract when she purchased the vehicleShe was not interested in purchasing any type of Vehicle Service ContractIt was explained to her at that time, if she did not want to purchase a Vehicle Service Contract, that if any issues would accure, she would be responsible for taking care of them on her ownThe customer signed paper work that stated she was purchasing the vehicle AS ISI can provide the document at your request.I have offered several different ways to try to satisfy this customer but nothing has seemed to please herWe have offered to pay for a third of the cost to have her transmission fixed with the shop (** *** ENTERPRISE) that she had taken the vehicle tooI spoke with gentlemen that owned the shop and he explained to me that the vehicle seemed to be shifting a little rough from 2nd to 3rd gear but, overall, the transmission could last another yearsWe have also offered to cancel the contract with the bank that she financed her vehicle withShe wasn't willing to do that eitherEverything that we have offered to do to help has been deniedShe calls the business numerous times a day and screams that she is getting a lawyerWe tried our best to satisfy this customer even though the vehicle was sold AS IS and a Vehicle Service Contract was refused.Thank You,Alan L***, Owner AWL Auto & Truck

According to the reviews from previous customers the warranty that I could have purchased would not have covered the cost of the repairs to the vehicle in question. I would also like to point out that this is not the first occurrence of Awl Auto & Truck misrepresenting their services and practicing deceptive business practices. If you were to look on their reviews section of their Facebook page, you will find that this is not the first time they have done this to a customer. It is sad and unfortunate, that a small business would practice these predatory and deceptive business practices.
