( working homesusing my money for the second home which was an insure claim)!! I wasn't looking to see how much the up-charge was that they were doing I just want to see where my monies were being spent ( and vendorsyou guys sure used home depot a lot)I am the homeowner and I have the right to themAs to the plumbing this is why I hired a contractor, of course I don't know a lot but I do know that a kitchen drain should not be ft from the kitchen sink or the toilet flange set in concrete should not be crooked and the other toilet should not be 5" away from the wallthese are set ion concrete because I have a slab and heated floorsNow I am worried were my heated floors done correctly and inspectedwhere does my water supply come into the house! The temppower pole was not in the middle of the foundation the original cabin built in did not have a foundation at alland the pole was at least ft from where they were workingMrC [redacted] had advised me to have power disconnected so I didagain he is the contractor and should have known what he was doingI had no idea there was an abandoned wellHow would I have know this? yes thankful no one was hurt!! Garbage and dumpster since I was being charged $for cleanup should have been the contractors responsibility not mine The only subcontractor I had hired was the roofing company and they were told by MrC [redacted] to leave their garbage in a pile and he would clean it upYet I was the one who hauled it to the dumppictures to prove this Framing concerns I had addressed several times with MrC***he had an excuse for everythingI had several knowledgeable people out there that could see the concerns I was having without me saying a wordI have now had to hire a professional framer to come in and fix, repair and replace their mistakes( days) of workplus not only that MrC [redacted] was so proud of the door he bought with my money , however it opened backwards and it was a 2xframe and not a custom 2xNow what do I do with this door!(pictures of door) I am not here to smear your name I just do not think you should be in this businessI do not want anyone else with a simple remodel to go through what I have gone throughThis has or had nothing to do with a progress paymentThis did have EVERyTHING to do with receipts of money spentMr C [redacted] sent me an email dec 19,with options to proceed -- all requesting more money from me , yet not giving me whatI was requesting receipts, therefore I did not proceed with this companyIn the last email also Dec.19,Mr C [redacted] had stated the project would be complete sometime in FebNow Jan 9,he is saying If I would have proceeded with them it would be completed by nowHow could this beno framing inspection, no plumbing installed, no insulation, sheetrock tape texture prime or paint, no siding on, no counters or cabinets installed storm drains not complete in fact if you look at the drains they are all apron to feet from house corners, now those will have to be dug up and relocated, no interior or exterior doors floors are stamped but not stained or sealedSo really in less than weeks you could have had this all completeI am not being unrealistic nor am I being a "BULLY" so he has called me twiceI have tried several times to communicate with MrC [redacted] even asked MrS [redacted] to be in conversations, however what I had said or asked questions on were never really answered or even heard for that matterso therefore the corrections never got madePromises and deadlines never delivered or metjust a bunch of hopes to keep me quieti was always very hopeful that things were going to get better Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Ms***s complaints lack validity, aside from absconding with the signed contract (so technically we dont even have an agreement with this person) she constantly changed the parameters of the work, she insisted that materials be ordered when they were ordered in fact she paid for and ordered the materials under our account, how can that be our fault when she ordered them? Additionally she was trying to have sheetrock be placed weeks before her electrician or plumber had completed their work let alone insulation being installed or a proper dry out timeAs to her complaint regarding receipts, this should clearly illustrate her lack of understanding of the process, what we pay and what the client pays are two entirely different amounts in some cases due to discounts we receive from vendorsAs to her plumbing concerns she should really look at the plans she approved and provided before questioning why something is the way it isAs to her complaint about the Temporary power pole and everything to do with that once again her oversight, when approving the plans a home can not be built with temporary power in the middle of the foundation, therefor it had to be moved once again an issue she was aware of and personally handledWhich leads me to the foundation she also failed to disclose to us an abandoned well that was feet deep within the foundation digoutThe well was discovered during digout, luckily no one was hurt as a result of Ms***'s oversightAs to her complaints about compensation for employees that is up to us how sub contractors will be compensated not herAs to her complaint about the mess and garbage she had several of her own subs come in to do work, we can only clean so much as a dumpster was not provided, therefore trash had to be placed in garbage bags and remain on site until such time as they could be disposed ofAs to her supposed mistakes with framing and items not being square if she would have raised those concerns they could have been addressed in writing in the form of a punch list so they could be rectifiedHowever, what she refers to as mistakes are not mistakes but work that was still scheduled to be completedWhat her whole complaint is derived from I believe is her desire to finish it herself for less money and she is filing a complaint in an attempt to smear our name and bully us to not fight, because she does not wish to pay the progress payment dueIt is sad the way she goes about things she tries to bully companies that are legitimate while insisting that non licensed or insured subs be used in an effort to save moneyWe blame ourselves for not stopping her from making changes to the design, this oversight did lead to time overruns which were unforeseen but unavoidable due to Ms ***s changesIn general Ms [redacted] wanted the moon but was only wanting to pay for passage to puyallup, if Ms [redacted] thinks she walks on water and is a excellent contractor then why doesnt she have a license? We are still under budget for the overall project and would have finished by now had Ms [redacted] fullfilled her end of our agreement, all we did is ask for a progress payment that is due us and she went about being nefarious and deceptive while she tried too have us perform tasks that had not been paid for yetMs***s attitude with us, is not only unproffessional but unrealisticThe House has a solid frame and foundation (the work we performed) if Ms [redacted] feels that there are deficiencies in our work then she should have addressed them to us, but we are glad that her complaint illustrates her unwillingness to communicate in a proffessional matter to us We expect that this complaint be removed from our record or at a minimum be labeled not a valid complaint

materials under our account, how can that be our fault when she ordered them? Additionally she was trying to have sheetrock be placed weeks before her electrician or plumber had completed their work let alone insulation being installed or a proper dry out time. As to her complaint regarding receipts, this should clearly illustrate her lack of understanding of the process, what we pay and what the client pays are two entirely different amounts in some cases due to discounts we receive from vendors. As to her plumbing concerns she should really look at the plans she approved and provided before questioning why something is the way it is. As to her complaint about the Temporary power pole and everything to do with that once again her oversight, when approving the plans a home can not be built with temporary power in the middle of the foundation, therefor it had to be moved once again an issue she was aware of and personally handled. Which leads me to the foundation she also failed to disclose to us an abandoned well that was 16 feet deep within the foundation digout. The well was discovered during digout, luckily no one was hurt as a result of Ms. [redacted]'s oversight. As to her complaints about compensation for employees that is up to us how sub contractors will be compensated not her. As to her complaint about the mess and garbage she had several of her own subs come in to do work, we can only clean so much as a dumpster was not provided, therefore trash had to be placed in garbage bags and remain on site until such time as they could be disposed of. As to her supposed 47 mistakes with framing and items not being square if she would have raised those concerns they could have been addressed in writing in the form of a punch list so they could be rectified. However, what she refers to as mistakes are not mistakes but work that was still scheduled to be completed. What her whole complaint is derived from I believe is her desire to finish it herself for less money and she is filing a complaint in an attempt to smear our name and bully us to not fight, because she does not wish to pay the progress payment due. It is sad the way she goes about things she tries to bully companies that are legitimate while insisting that non licensed or insured subs be used in an effort to save money. We blame ourselves for not stopping her from making changes to the design, this oversight did lead to time overruns which were unforeseen but unavoidable due to Ms [redacted]s changes. In general Ms [redacted] wanted the moon but was only wanting to pay for passage to puyallup, if Ms [redacted] thinks she walks on water and is a excellent contractor then why doesnt she have a license? We are still under budget for the overall project and would have finished by now had Ms [redacted] fullfilled her end of our agreement, all we did is ask for a progress payment that is due us and she went about being nefarious and deceptive while she tried too have us perform tasks that had not been paid for yet. Ms. [redacted]s attitude with us, is not only unproffessional but unrealistic. The House has a solid frame and foundation (the work we performed) if Ms [redacted] feels that there are deficiencies in our work then she should have addressed them to us, but we are glad that her complaint illustrates her unwillingness to communicate in a proffessional matter to us.  We expect that this complaint be removed from our record or at a minimum be labeled not a valid complaint.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:First of let me start by saying"this Person" is the person who paid you $90,000 without one recent or invoice going off of good faith... MY first mistake.  I had only changed to walls I thought I had hired professional contractors that when a homeowner made changes that MR C[redacted] and Mr. S[redacted] would document and made the correct changes on the plans. I NEVER placed any order for materials under your business name ... yes I did pay for lumber and window and cabinet packages with my credit card, Mr. C[redacted] had placed those orders. I was getting bids from Home Advisors, because Mr. C[redacted] clearly lead me to believe we were getting close to that time frame and that he did not have a crew of employees or laborers to complete these jobs. Receipts my request for receipts is very valid... what is the Company trying to hide by not providing me with receipts or invoices? ( working 2 homes.. using my money for the second home which was an insure claim)!! I wasn't looking to see how much the up-charge was that they were doing I just want to see where my monies were being spent ( and vendors.. you guys sure used home depot a lot).. I am the homeowner and I have the right to them. As to the plumbing this is why I hired a contractor, of course I don't know a lot but I do know that a kitchen drain should not be 5 ft from the kitchen sink or the toilet flange set in concrete should not be crooked and the other toilet should not be 5" away from the wall.. these are set ion concrete because I have a slab and heated floors... Now I am worried were my heated floors done correctly and inspected.. where does my water supply come into the house!  The temp. power pole was not in the middle of the foundation the original cabin built in 1920 did not have a foundation at all.. and the pole was at least 3 ft from where they were working. Mr. C[redacted] had advised me to have power disconnected so I did.. again he is the contractor and should have known what he was doing. I had no idea there was an abandoned well.. How would I have know this? yes thankful no one was hurt!! Garbage and dumpster since I was being charged $800 for cleanup should have been the contractors responsibility not mine.  The only subcontractor I had hired was the roofing company and they were told by Mr. C[redacted] to leave their garbage in a pile and he would clean it up... Yet I was the one who hauled it to the dump. pictures to prove this Framing concerns I had addressed several times with Mr. C[redacted]. he had an excuse for everything. I had several knowledgeable people out there that could see the concerns I was having without me saying a word. I have now had to hire a professional framer to come in and fix, repair and replace their mistakes( 4 days) of work. plus not only that Mr. C[redacted] was so proud of the door he bought with my money , however it opened backwards and it was a 2x4 frame and not a custom 2x6. Now what do I do with this 300.00 door!(pictures of door)  I am not here to smear your name I just do not think you should be in this business. I do not want anyone else with a simple remodel to go through what I have gone through. This has or had nothing to do with a progress payment. This did have EVERyTHING to do with receipts of money spent. Mr C[redacted] sent me an email dec 19,2016 with 3 options to proceed -- all requesting more money from me , yet not giving me whatI was requesting receipts, therefore I did not proceed with this company. In the last email also Dec.19,2016 Mr C[redacted] had stated the project would be complete sometime in Feb. Now Jan 9,2017 he is saying If I would have proceeded with them it would be completed by now.. How could this be... no framing inspection, no plumbing installed, no insulation, sheetrock tape texture prime or paint, no siding on, no counters or cabinets installed storm drains not complete in fact if you look at the drains they are all apron 1 to 2 feet from house corners, now those will have to be dug up and relocated, no interior or exterior doors floors are stamped but not stained or sealed.. So really in less than 3 weeks you could have had this all complete. I am not  being unrealistic  nor am I being a "BULLY" so he  has called me twice. I have tried several times to communicate with Mr. C[redacted] even asked Mr. S[redacted] to be in conversations, however what I had said or asked questions on were never really answered or even heard for that matter. so therefore the corrections never got made. Promises and deadlines never delivered or met.. just a bunch of false hopes to keep me quiet. I was always very hopeful that things were going to get better ...
Sincerely,[redacted]
