Review: I needed to get a stone set in an engagement ring. After looking around on [redacted], I discovered AY Jewelry and decided to go to them since they had great reviews. Once at the store, [redacted], the [redacted], took the stone and began working away. He finished within 5 minutes, I paid him $20 in cash and left the store with the ring safely in a ring box. Two days later, I opened the box to take a look at the ring and noticed that the side of the stone had chipped off. The chip was not a glaring imperfection, but one could see it when closely examined. The next day, I went back to the store seeking restitution, but the [redacted] refused any and all responsibility.Desired Settlement: I request that I be refunded in the full amount of the stone--$275.
