Failure to complete work.[redacted] was hired to replace and paint the eves of my house in [redacted]. a few months after the work was completed I discovered that an opening between one of the facia boards and the chimney was not sealed and bats had started getting into my attic through the opening. I called Mr. [redacted] and explained the situation. He assured me he would send someone out to my house that afternoon. No one came. I tried multiple times to reach him on the phone and left him multiple voice messages. He never returned my calls. This is unacceptable business practices. Do work for some one then stick your head in the sand when the work is not done correctly and refuse to fix your errors. This job was done last year in the spring/summer of 2015 not in the last couple of months. We didn't do any paint and replaced the boards that were pointed out by the paint contractor. This job was not done a couple of months ago it was over a year ago. When I was contacted by the home owner I thought that he had problems with somewhere else in the house not the board he said we replaced. I was extremely busy and it was my fault for not calling him back. I receive a very high volume of calls and cant reach out to everyone. Once I read the letter from the Revdex.com I contacted the painter that he hired to do the job and he said he had not heard from the home owner and was surprised since he painted and caulked the fascia and was the one who requested for me to send a couple of my guys out to help with the rotten fascia boards. I immediately called the homeowner and left my number to please return my call. After a couple of days I stopped by the homeowners property with the employee who did the work at his home last year. No one was there but I told him the report said loose board around chimney. I know that employees dont always tell the truth but he told me he didnt think he replaced the board with the issue around the chimney. He may be wrong so all I can do is go on what the homeowner is saying. If the homeowner will return my call I promise I will send my man back over to fix the board. If he has already paid a carpenter to repair I will be glad to reimburse him for the bill. I have been in business for 10 years and never had one complaint until now and very much want to right a possible wrong.
