Ayers Basement Systems

I would give zero stars if I couldI would never again deal with AyersI have had many problemsFirst, the exterior drain to the sump was put in the wrong place (in a low spot)They moved it but only another feet--not far enough to avoid water in my yard so I had a private contractor do it (which Ayers eventually paid, albeit reluctantly)Then, I had water in my crawlspaceTurns out Ayers put the interior sump in the wrong place (not in the lowest spot)They eventually moved itNow, most recently my sump pump burned outAgain, I had water in the crawlspaceCalled them up on January They said it would be FEB until they could come out unless I paid $for an "emergency call" They had be over a barrel with water in the crawlspace so I agreed to pay the $Turns out my pump was burned out after less than monthsThey told me the sump pump had a year warranty but their "policy" was that they would only replace it within one yearIt was up to me, they said, for me to contact the manufacturerWhen I contacted the manufacturer I was told they wouldn't deal with the end consumer but the installer/actual purchaser needed to call them A bad experience all around

I would give zero stars if I could. I would never again deal with Ayers. I have had many problems. First, the exterior drain to the sump was put in the wrong place (in a low spot). They moved it but only another 15 feet--not far enough to avoid water in my yard so I had a private contractor do it (which Ayers eventually paid, albeit reluctantly). Then, I had water in my crawlspace. Turns out Ayers put the interior sump in the wrong place (not in the lowest spot). They eventually moved it. Now, most recently my sump pump burned out. Again, I had water in the crawlspace. Called them up on January 23. They said it would be FEB 17 until they could come out unless I paid $195 for an "emergency call" They had be over a barrel with water in the crawlspace so I agreed to pay the $195. Turns out my pump was burned out after less than 18 months. They told me the sump pump had a 3 year warranty but their "policy" was that they would only replace it within one year. It was up to me, they said, for me to contact the manufacturer. When I contacted the manufacturer I was told they wouldn't deal with the end consumer but the installer/actual purchaser needed to call them.
