I had my windshield replaced by AZ Auto Glass Tech last week on June 5th. I had a kind gentlemen knock at my door. He was polite, kind,well educated in the auto glass field. I had the crack on my glass for almost a year and had other people come by before to try get me to replace it. They always were pushy and told me it would be free. [redacted] told me that it was not free,but it would be no cost to me as long as I had purchased the the glass waiver through my insurance which was part of my comprehensive coverage. And I asked him if it would raise my rates. He then provided me with the ARS on how they couldn't raise my rates for safety equipment and a claim that wasn't my fault. He then told me though it could prevent me from getting future discounts, and if I switched insurance companies that they could hold against me. I told him that I would have to talk it over with my spouse. He stated he understood that, that it wasn't worth sleeping on couch for week over a windshield but to take in mind that they don't call it safety equipment for a reason, and that I need to get it done as soon as possible. He said it prevented the roof from collapsing in if a roll over accident occurred. He then shook my hand and said he'd be in my neighborhood for a few hrs,that he liked working late NC it's cooler, and more people are at home. He wished me a great day, gave me his number, and told me God Bless. Well at 8 PM I heard my husband outside talking with someone and laughing. I went out to see whom he was talking to and it was [redacted] the auto glass guy. Well he called our insurance and they verified everything he said. He scheduled me the next day at my job and left. I was extremely impressed with his conduct, enthusiasm, manners. What got my husband most was we told him that people offer us up to 100 cash to replace it. He said I'm out here at 800 at night and he worked for commission only and him and wife were having hard time and if he gave us money it would come out of his pay. And he don't stay 2000 miles from his wife for free. And he thinks it should be illegal to do that. Why should he bribe us to do our windshield. My husband liked that bc he said he was a straight shooter with an old school mentality. We never do anything door to door! Well this went so well I'm glad that we stopped being ignorant to door to door people. They are hardworking and honest people as well. The installer showed up at 215 the next day and wasn't as friendly as [redacted] but [redacted] told us that his job isn't to be friendly but make sure he does good job,and be efficient. He was that. He was done by 3. I was able to drive my car by 5. As I was driving home I noticed that my windshield had a logo on it. I called [redacted] and asked him what that was. He said the glass that supposed to be in your car. We had the window replaced through dealership before we bought it and they had put aftermarket glass in. So that was icing on the cake. I got the original car something glass [redacted] said with pony logo. We strongly encourage you use AZ Auto Glass Tech. And since [redacted] is working on commissions we encourage you call him on his cell or ask the office his number. [redacted]. [redacted]
