AZ Container Freight

Review: A freight claim for damage in-transit was submitted to [redacted] of AZ Container on March 20, 2014 with all supporting documents and photos of the damages. The shipment included 2 wooden dressers which had large gouges corresponding to holes in the boxes they were packed in. One of the dresser 2 front legs were also broken. I first made the claim against the delivering carrier, [redacted] back in January who said they had also noted the damage to the boxes when they picked up the shipment from [redacted]. [redacted] said they too noted the damage when they picked the shipment up from AZ Container. [redacted] has been stalling me for almost 3 months, first asking for additional information and insisting I keep the boxes, then ignoring my emails and phone calls or just saying he needed more time to investigate. Today, he responded that he did not "believe" that his company caused the damage. When I asked for proof that they had also signed for the freight as damaged when they took possession, he said that was "privileged information" and he could not provide it. That only made me more certain that his firm had caused the damage.Desired Settlement: The claim for damages totals $854.21 which includes repairs to both pieces of furniture and the cost to replace the 2 broken legs which had to be sent from Italy.
