Took my new car in for headlights HID headlights and foglights with high-end halo rings, this shop was one of two local shops who were an authorized dealer and installer. Got a quote for $900, agreed on price and set up a day to drop my car off rented a car for the 5 days they said it would take called a few times to check on how everything was going but owner was always busy or gone on the 10th day of them having my car and no rental to get a round in they finally called but they are closing in 20min called a cab and arrived with 5min to spare. Sun was setting car was very dirty and black. Owner showed off the new lights but I noticed the halo LEDs looked nothing like the brand I was promised and payed for they were spread out and very cheap looking when I asked about them he said they were another brand that were just as good and he added he did not think it would make a difference he was so excited about this project he didnt think about telling me about the halo brand. At this point I was mostly happy just to get my car back and left. Few days later I went to wash my car because of the glue they used. I started to wipe the front bumper that was covered in what looked like hand prints but nothing worked it looked like somebody had buffed off the clearcoat close to the tirewell the foglight areas looked like they had been freshly painted and bumper had paint bubbles and orange peel took car back but didnt know how that happened the hood was also missing the weather strip that sat between the hood and top of the bumper but again nothing had to take a picture of the strip off the same car at a dealership to prove it was missing. Next morning I left car again with them to get the paint fixed from what it looked like they had sent car to a detail shop it looked better but still was not close to the condition I had it before bringing it into them. Two months later the halos and HIDs started to fail they had me bring it in so theycould have a look multiple LEDS were out and the headlights would only turn on after flicking them on and off anywhere from 2-30 or more times left car with them for a third time 2 days later they had done nothing but weekend was coming up so they just wanted to let me know they couldnt get around to my car. Picked up my car switched out the ballast on my own ordered a new set or HIDs, headlight/foglight housing and halos, went to another shop and got all but halos installed changed my mind took 4 hours. The old housings were in bad shape the glue they used had browned over halos looked burnt and were covered in glue foglights had water damage everywhere my bumper no longer fit flush it looked like it had a underbite. Drove my "new" car for a very long year till I couldnt handle it and upgraded to another car this all happened in early 2013 and I still get upset. Wouldnt trust them with anything not after all the money and stress they cost me.
