AZ Tree Trimmer Reviews (4)

The original job was completed, you then threatened to give a bad complaint if I wouldn't do another job for you. I I couldn't get around the job, nor did it even reach the minimum, and I told you this. Now your story is changed. Please stop trying to extort money out of me. I have no idea why you want $250 out of our pocket.

I met with [redacted] to give an estimate for the removal of 5 Sissoo trees. I enjoyed my conversation with [redacted] and I am sad to see how he misunderstood how the tree removal process works. I even spend an extra 45 minutes helping troubleshoot his irrigation system during the estimate. I...

quoted [redacted] $900 to remove 5 trees. This included a stump grinding 6"-8" below grade of all the tree stumps. I did inform [redacted] that this type of tree has the ability to sprout completely new and independent tree saplings from the complex root system that is throughout large areas of this yard. I explained that after a sump grind and the tree is completely removed that this root system, that is in no way connected to the three removal process, may attempt to sprout throughout the yard. I explained that there are no chemicals that can stop this from happening. Some situation the roots may not resprout and other situations the roots may come back aggressively. [redacted] said he understood the situation that after my company comes and does 100% of the discussed project that he may still have an issue with regrowth. Months later I received a call from [redacted] concerned about the roots growing back aggressively, he stated he already cut everything off to the ground level out of view. I offered free of charge, even though not obligated, as a courtesy to help him hand the aggressive resprouting. I told him that he need to let them grow so we can see the locations to where the new trees would need to be removed. A month later he had state that the new roots had sprouted up and I had informed my assistant Mary to put him on the schedule and let know that we would be out within the next couple weeks to help him by removing these growths. It appears that from the complaint that [redacted] was under the impression that I was in some way did not complete the original agreement. And he took advantage of my kind gesture and used it against me. My crew did go out before the claim was filed and remove the major problem roots in the front yard and made an attempt to remove a smaller amount in the back yard but was not able to because [redacted] did not leave the gate unlocked. In the complaint [redacted] is asking for us to finish the job properly or repay money that was paid in full. The job was completed per agreement on the first day we were there. There is no reason to return money since the job was completed properly. There are a few customers who never appear to be satisfied no matter how hard I try and [redacted] appears to be one of them.

[redacted] is trying to merge two completely unrelated evens into one complaint. I am going to name these as Event 1 which occurred on Feb 15, 2014 and Event 2 which occurred on May 19, 2014. Event 1 was a multi day job that was worked on continuously without interruption, without any phone calls...

necessary for completion of the job. Event 1 was competed in the time frame which was discussed and was completed to satisfaction of [redacted] Franks. It looks as if [redacted] is including Event 1 in order to file a complaint with Event 2. Event 2 was nothing more that a request for an estimate. By Revdex.com's policy [redacted] would need to be out monies or have been wronged in a job transaction. No actual transaction occurred in Event 2 so he has merged the transaction in event 1 to attempt to validate a Revdex.com complaint. The details surrounding Event 2; The first thing I would like to point out never in any conversation that I had with [redacted] did I agree to doing a job for $50 or doing a job on a specific date. This is a 100% false statement made by [redacted] Franks. [redacted] called while I was on vacation and our company was closed for business in the mid part of May. He left many phone calls stating he was interested in an estimate. I talked with [redacted] on May 22 concerning Event 2. [redacted] had a dead tree that he had previously ask for us to chop up in Event 1. I had quoted him $100 if done at time of Event 1. My company typically charges a minumum of $175 for each visit at a property. [redacted] is well aware of this. During Event 1 [redacted] decline the quote of $100 and stated he was going to remove it himself. During the phone call on May 22 [redacted] stated he chopped up a majority of the tree and wanted me to do something different than what was discussed in Event 1. Since this was something different than what was quoted in Event 1 I could not give him an accurate quote until I had viewed the remaining tree. [redacted] said he would only pay me $50 dollars to complete the job. I said I would think about ti and get back to him, maybe over the weekend. This was a holiday weekend and we were closed for business and I was not able to return [redacted] call to further discuss this estimate he was requesting. I then received a threatening voicemail from [redacted] on Monday May 26th that [redacted] was going to blackmail me with the Revdex.com into doing a $50 job that we were not capable of doing, nor did I ever agree to do. Before the complaint made it to the Revdex.com on tuesday I formally sent [redacted] a message through phone text, which we use often to communicate. I responded by saying I was sorry and I did the best I could to find someone that would help him with his project and I could not find another business interested in doing the job for $50 and that he might look into a smaller companies with lower overhead that would do it for that price. I then received no response from [redacted]. Only later to find out that he went through with his aggressive tactics and filed a bogus complaint. I have been in communication with [redacted] and will not be involved in his scam, nor work for him again. There will be no $50 job that will be done because it was never agreed to. I would appreciate if the Revdex.com take care of this claim.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Once again this terrible businessman refuses to resolve the issues he created, and now has resorted to spurious statements and dishonesty.Facts:- I still have a copy of the original scope of work for $125 for the tree. After doing the majority of the work (which he acknowledges), I offered $75 for his assistance to finalize the job and was told I "would be put on the schedule". Only later after I left many calls and texts over many days I was told he would not assist; keep in mind the total job was for over $2200 and future business. You would think any good businessman would want to help maintain good relationships with his customers, but not this businessman.- Communication is key, and in this day and age it is not difficult even during "holiday weekends". By his own statements it is clear he cannot maintain contact with his customers.- Blackmail is a serious charge, and can be considered libel and slanderous. I did notify him I would consider a Revdex.com claim, but this was only after 5 days of leaving messages (which he acknowledges in his response) to which he never responded, and it is totally misaligned and irresponsible to suggest I stated I would resort to blackmail him. This is just another example of his apparent desperation over his revolked Revdex.com status. He was given fair notice and failed to respond, which is his fault and shows lack of responsibility.- Most indicative of his poor business approach is that rather than attempt to resolve this issue with me over less than $100 and keep a happy customer (which is the goal of the Revdex.com), he has spent over a year whining to the Revdex.com to have this complaint tossed out. Resolving customer issues should be central to any business, but not with this poor businessman.I would like reimbursement of $250 paid to another business to remove the remainder of the tree.I have had to take care of this issue on my own. It is my hope that the accreditation of this business remains revolked - no other customers should be mistreated by such a poor businessman.Regards,[redacted]
