The online reservation was not made with "Sushi Azabu" as they claim.Restaurant has not explained why they are still violating New York City law by charging a mandatory 18% service charge. Waitress lied and claimed the restaurant was not called "Azabu" and refused to honor gift certificate I had from *** for $I have evidence to the contrary

Hello [redacted]First of all Thank You for dining at our restaurant on Monday and taking the time to let us know of your thoughts. We do apologize that our explanation about this situation was not clear to have made you feel unsatisfied and betrayed. We strive to serve the best of food,...

Our staff are loyal and would never lie to you for anything. We used to have two levels to our restaurant, a more casual seating on the ground floor where the gift certificate was available to use. Not at Sushi Azabu in the basement. When we closed the ground floor on 12/**/2015, we have ended the contract with [redacted]. We were told by [redacted] that they will contact our guests who have bought the azabu gift certificates, so they can exchange for an existing restaurant. That is why haven't been accepting certificates. The logo we have outside is only a logo representing Sushi Azabu. Please contact [redacted] to retrieve your gift certificate for an existing restaurant.We apologize for the confusion but we hope you understand of this matter.Thank You,Sincerely
