The details Ms*** relates do not entirely match my recollection. The fee is within the ranges quoted by phone and I am confident that my rates are comparable to other surveyors in Salem, OregonI do recall mentioning that other survey I had spoken to were also busy. I did not tell
Ms*** not to call other surveyors. Notwithsanding, it is my policy to always work with clients who are disappointed in our services and would be willing to make adjustment if I were contacted. My letter of transmittal, which was included with the map I sent urges the client to contact me if our services might be somehow improved. When payment was not timely received, I left a phone message with Ms*** urging her to contact me if there was a problem of if a payment plan was needed. If Ms*** believes she has received anything of value, then I will accept whatever payment she proposes. If not, then I am willing to forgive the entire bill. Please ask Ms*** to contact me so that I may make an appropriate adjustment
