I then asked my receptionist if she could recall that particular day and patient. She informed that I did treat the patient but she did not want to file an attorney lien and did not want to use an attorney. I did not tell the patient that she was lying and promptly granted her request to remove all charges and don't understand why she is filing a complaint when I granted her requests. We request all patients to fill out forms when in a car accident, to document everything in case the patient decides to file suit.
