Azone Motorsports Reviews (1)

Review: To whom it may concern,

-On June 6th 2013 hired [redacted] of Azone Motorsports last known business address [redacted], (I’ve been by there 2 times since recently and it was closed) to work on my Supra engine I gave a check for $1000 check #[redacted] to commence the work.

On August 22nd Mr. [redacted] asked me for more money and said the engine is almost ready from machine shop and needs more money to pick it up and wrap up the work. I gave him another check for $2000 #[redacted].

Al most 4 months go by and still nothing was done , with continues texts and hardly no response and finally he gets back to me a both the 3rd of December 2013 and explains to that the engine is ready at the machine shop and I just have to pay for it so we can pick it up. I had already paid him for that but apparently he ran out of money or spent it already and the engine has been siting the for a while. So went ahead and met him despite and paid [redacted] located [redacted] $610.78 check#[redacted] on 12/4/2013.

Mr. [redacted] proceed to tell that he’ll have it wrapped up in 2-3 weeks tops and the car will ready and driving. I kept constant touch with him throughout the months with very little response on his end and still nothing was done to the car, he kept giving excuses as to why the motor isn’t ready and how it needs the proper bearings and proper tools.. I would stop by and the car was parked outside at one point with windows open neglected and water had gotten on the leather seats and shrunk the leather. By May 2014 he’s had the car almost a year with no advancement in the work.. I was very frustrated and made numerous calls to get a hold of him and nothing so I went down to his shop and there he was playing games on his phone.. I expressed my disappointment and told him I’m pulling the car out of there, it was in pieces everywhere! He said engine was assembled and was ready to install. May 14th 2014 in the afternoon, I called my tow guy and new hired mechanic to gather all the parts and remove the engine from his shop. Suspicious with Mr.[redacted] ongoing behavior and bad business practices, I asked My newly hired mechanic to dismantle the motor and check all parts and labor performed on and the results were nothing less from astonishing! For starters He found missing pieces in the head then saw a highlighter pen lodged in the motor compartment next to the pistons!! Missing oil pressure relief valves that squirt oil to the pistons (without them the engine would’ve lasted 2 minutes running). Badly scratched rod bearings. As of 08/03/2015 over a year later from recovering my engine from him we’re still looking for rare missing parts to complete the motor assembly, I’m not able to finish it because important oil lines that feed the turbos are missing and impossible to locate. I have accrued more then $3000.00 in parts(not including labor) so far with no relief in site. In summery the engine assembly and its content was that of amateur job and done with no regard whatsoever to detail, but more like someone with no knowledge whatsoever of what they’re doing. It’s been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life, the car value is well over $30.000 and I cannot get anywhere near that for it if it’s not completed, not counting that the cost accrued is well over that I have anticipated and I’m looking at a loss profit when this all done. I want my money back that I paid him plus $7000.00 it's going to cost me to finish it and get it back on the road again.Desired Settlement: I want my money back that I paid him plus $7000.00 it's going to cost me to finish it and get it back on the road again.

This is a low demand because I'm a business and this car is in our inventory, it does not include time and profit loss also interest accrued on our business line of credit!
