My understanding of the customer's points:1) claims has years experience2) claims doesn't get the edge3) claims was taken off market due to defect4) claims guys are sore afterwards5) claims people selling at $on line1) I understand that the customer has years experience We have been selling this machine for yearsI don't really see what their years experience matters since they said themselves they have never run this machine before.2) Pictures were already sent demonstrating that the skirt is less than 1/wide and the brush goes to the inside edge of the skirtVinyl molding kicks out 1/inch at bottom as it meets floorThat is the edge and that is what brush addressesStatements about what salespeople say are incorrect and dumb Why would a commissioned sales person try to sell an edging machine by saying it doesn't do the edge? No idea what techs they are talking about.3) Machine was not taken off the market due to defectTwo parts became unavailable [redacted] stopped certifying their engine for propane, so Aztec had to do our own certification [redacted] bought [redacted] and discontinued our custom brush design That had to be resourced.4) It sounds like machine is not being run properly Machine is made to be run just over idle This speed maximizes brush aggressiveness and minimizes side torque There is still some side torque which pulls the machine slightly to the right This is done so that the machine pulls itself against the edge of the wall and the operator can walk straight ahead while machine holds itself against wall When machine is resting against edge of the wall, edge gets all the torque and the operator gets virtually noneThere is slightly more torque when working under gondolas because there is nothing to rest the edge of the machine against, but that is a mechanical necessity based on the leverage effect of a 26" long nose on a 4" high machine.5)This point is meaningless 20% of all janitorial contractors go out of business every year Additionally new contracts are let and old ones cancelled every day There is used equipment of all kinds and brands being dumped every day for an infinite number of reasons.I believe that answers all the points Additionally, as stated in multiple media mediums, Aztec is committed to a policy of taking working Aztec machines as trades on new Aztec machines Provided is it in good working order we will accept this machine back as a used trade in against a new machine - with the obvious deduction in value for it being used versus new (like a car) But since this customer thinks all our machines are inferior pieces of junk, this is probably not a good option for them

I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
[redacted]
We have been doing floors for 20 years and we own the sidewinder machine that they sell and the buffer their own sales peaple and tecks said that it doesn't get the whole edge that you would still have to scrape plus they have taken this machine off the market a couple of times because their were issues with it because I tried to buy it a year ago and I watched their videos and read the instructions the machine doesn't work and it's supost to be easyer to use and my guys arms hurt bad after trying to use it and when I called their office one of their salespeople said it puts a lot of fatigue on the person running it and it's such a big seller that's why peaple are selling them online for 2300 and takeing a loss because the machine is garbage one of your operators come with the better buisiness beurow and run this so called [redacted] and then let them take over on it and show them what a great machine it is

As can be clearly seen from [redacted], the skirt is less than 1/8 thick and the brush rides against it allowing the machine to go all the way up to the edges.  This operator clearly cannot read a ruler and was either not trained properly and/or did not properly educate herself pre-purchase on...

machine use and performance. Aztec has sold these machines for 18 years and they do what we say they do.As can be clearly seen from [redacted], Aztec states clearly on our invoice contract that returns are not accepted.  This equipment is commercial grade equipment meant to be sold to commercial companies who have done the proper research and training to know that they can save themselves thousands of dollars of labor when they use it correctly.  It is a good purchase for professionals and has been for 18 years.  This equipment is not retail clothing to be bought and returned from [redacted] or [redacted] at buyers whim.

My understanding of the customer's points:1) claims has 20 years experience2) claims doesn't get the edge3) claims was taken off market due to defect4) claims guys are sore afterwards5) claims people selling at $2300 on line1) I understand that the customer has 20 years experience.  We have been selling this machine for 20 years. I don't really see what their 20 years experience matters since they said themselves they have never run this machine before.2) Pictures were already sent demonstrating that the skirt is less than 1/8 wide and the brush goes to the inside edge of the skirt. Vinyl molding kicks out 1/8 inch at bottom as it meets floor. That is the edge and that is what brush addresses. Statements about what salespeople say are incorrect and dumb.  Why would a commissioned sales person try to sell an edging machine by saying it doesn't do the edge?  No idea what techs they are talking about.3) Machine was not taken off the market due to defect. Two parts became unavailable. [redacted] stopped certifying their engine for propane, so Aztec had to do our own certification. [redacted] bought [redacted] and discontinued our custom brush design.  That had to be resourced.4) It sounds like machine is not being run properly.  Machine is made to be run just over idle.  This speed maximizes brush aggressiveness and minimizes side torque.  There is still some side torque which pulls the machine slightly to the right.  This is done so that the machine pulls itself against the edge of the wall and the operator can walk straight ahead while machine holds itself against wall.  When machine is resting against edge of the wall, edge gets all the torque and the operator gets virtually none. There is slightly more torque when working under gondolas because there is nothing to rest the edge of the machine against, but that is a mechanical necessity based on the leverage effect of a 26" long nose on a 4" high machine.5)This point is meaningless.  20% of all janitorial contractors go out of business every year.  Additionally new contracts are let and old ones cancelled every day.  There is used equipment of all kinds and brands being dumped every day for an infinite number of reasons.I believe that answers all the points.  Additionally, as stated in multiple media mediums, Aztec is committed to a policy of taking working Aztec machines as trades on new Aztec machines.  Provided is it in good working order we will accept this machine back as a used trade in against a new machine - with the obvious deduction in value for it being used versus new (like a car).  But since this customer thinks all our machines are inferior pieces of junk, this is probably not a good option for them.
