Review: Aztec Container's representative came out and assessed the site where the container would be placed. Informed me that there would be no complications. I paid for the container and they delivered the container. Afterward I was approached by the City of [redacted] inspector to say that the container was "Illegal" and must be removed. Aztec misled me. I called Aztec to let them know that I needed them to come get the container because they sold me an "illegal" product. They informed me that it was not their problem and that they would come get the container but I would only get half of my $4800 back. They sold me an "illegal" product knowing that it was illegal to have in a residential area. I have only had the container for less than two weeks and it has not been used, at all. I just want them to come get the container and give me back my money.Desired Settlement: A full refund of the money paid for the illegal container that they sold me.

At no time did our salesman or our driver advise the customer of the Citiesregulation on placing a container on her property. It is up to the property owner to find out what they canand can•not do on their property. She contacted us and said the City will not allow her to have the containeron her property. The response you got from the owner is a lie! I asked the salesman on the phone [redacted] while I was researching the possibility of getting the container if there were any city codes or restrictions for a container of this size on a private residence. He told me no. That is when I asked for someone to come out and inspect my property as to where I wanted to put it and to verify 1. That it was legal to put where I wanted to put it and 2. that it would fit. The person that came out to inspect my property told me the same thing that the salesman told me over the phone. That it was fine to have on my personal property and yes it would fit. At that time is when I started my purchase of the container and provided my credit card information.

The day it was delivered 5/11/15 at 7:30AM my neighbor [redacted] called the city and filed a complaint. The city code inspector [redacted] of [redacted] CA came out at 8:15am and told me yes this is illegal to have on a private residence and yes Aztec knows this because they 1. are a business in the county of [redacted] and 2. They deal with [redacted] businesses and residences all the time. I was furious and while [redacted] was still there I called Aztec back and spoke with [redacted]. I told him that he told me this container was not illegal and ok to have on my property. He said "well it is only illegal if someone complains" I was outraged. I said then its illegal and you need to come pick it up and refund my money. He told me to first try to smooth over my neighbor. I called almost every day for 7 days to get them to remove the container and to refund my money. All this time this owner would not take my calls. I only got to speak to the salesman who would take my messages to the owners and then provide me with their response. They wanted to charge me $2300 which is almost half of the $4800 I paid for it for something they knowingly sold me illegally in hopes that no one would complain and that I could not use. Now that I was sited I had 30 days to get the container moved off my property or I would start getting fines! Why should I let them keep $2300 for this - that is insane! Any item can be returned - cars included within 3 days for a full refund. They will resale this item for full price and make double profit off a customer (me) I don't think so!

This is a very crooked, corrupt company with no moral compass. Look at their webpage at their reviews - I am not the only one with complaints against them.

I met with the City of [redacted] Mayor as well and am doing everything I can to make sure others do not get taken like I did. I have done Yelp reviews, craigs list, facebook and anywhere else I can think of to get the word out about this horrible company! People have the right to know. I lost $4800!!!!!!

Please do whatever the Revdex.com can do to make this company and its greedy owners know you can not take advantage of customers and get away scott free!
