Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 12, 2017/09/14) */ We have recently been notified of a complaint filed with you at the Revdex.com on Northern Indiana We at B.A.SRentals do not own the property located at [redacted] as we are a property management firmMs [redacted] Signed a lease with us on June 9th We sent her home with a walk thru sheet that she had to return to us to receive a copy of her leaseOn this sheet she marked down: Hole in ceiling, door latch bent, mold in corner wall, & smoke alarm didn't work Our policy here at B.A.BRentals beings this is a Management property We make a maintenance sheet and call the property owner to advise the issues and they decide if they will do the maintenance or we will Our staff and the property owner have been working together to get this problem fixedWe have discovered that the hole in Ms [redacted] s ceiling & the mold on the wall is caused by a roof leakWe have kept her updated on the situationWe are unable to fix the ceiling until we make the necessary roof repairs as this will only cause more damage to the ceiling if we do it beforeWe have had several different contractors scheduled to come out to access the roof issue but we are finding that the contractors are booked outWe have not neglected this situation at all and the staff at B.A.BRentals has kept in contact with Ms [redacted] about these mattersMs [redacted] has just recently had a newborn baby and seems to have ran into a financial bind, Seems to be the reasoning on why she filed a complaint with you because she thought that means she didn't have to pay rentIf you may have any other questions we would be happy to answer themWe will continue to work with the property owner until these issues have been resolved Thank you for your time, Marcia B [redacted] Owner B.A.BRentals

9th 2017. We sent her home with a walk thru sheet that she had to return to us to receive a copy of her lease. On this sheet she marked down: Hole in ceiling, door latch bent, mold in corner wall, & smoke alarm didn't work.
