Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I came to the shop to have a break job done I paid a very high labor cost of dollarsI paid and everything was fine, until I find out that they did the break job wrong the labor I paid for failed and put myself and whoever in my car in danger because a break caliper was not even working correctly because of the mistake made by B&B auto laborersI have audio and visual evidence of it being broken and I myself [redacted] was not told they would tow it back to the shop I was asked to drive it back I had no idea whether or not it was safe but I was in the middle of the highway and had no choiceI am asking for a labor refund because it is simple, labor was done wrong causing threatening conditions to myself and persons in my vehicle for a labor job your business did wrong, you offered no consideration for me the customer except a sorry, but sorry doesn't save someone's life Sincerely, [redacted]

shop for a brake jobWe changed front and rear brake pads and rotorsWe finished the job and gave the car back to himAfter an hour later, I got call from Mr*** (owner of the car) saying he heard a clanking noise and grindingHe wanted to bring back the vehicle to the shop to check the noiseWe offered him a tow truck to tow his car but he insisted and told us it's still drivableCustomer came back to the shopWe checked the vehicle and found out one of the caliper bolt came outWe apologized to the customer and ordered new bolts and fix the problem right awayNow customer asking for refund on what basisWe are confused on customer requestWe apologize for any inconveniences. I am rejecting this response because:Ok, I was able to download the attachments (4page).I looked at the car a week later and found the # sparkplug wire was not even connected to the sparkplug itself,I have my girlfriend as a witness to that effect.Also there were vacuum leaks from hoses that he either didn't connect right or thought nothing about it,also found nuts and bolts on the frame and in the engine compartment.Further more the car does not idle but it was fine before ,and now it sounds like I have a miss in the engine due to B & B not checking to make sure everything was connected or took it for a road like ALL OTHER MECHANIC SHOP WILL DO AFTER A TUNE UP! So now the car is undriveable and I did change those parts myself because I will never take any of my cars back to B & B AUTO REPAIR.Nor will friends or family after I told them what happened to my car.Sad but true.....It will cost me more then $ 5,to fix this problem that he and his business has caused me !

Dear Sir.This is in regards to the letter dated Oct23,regarding ID#***.Customer came in and requested a tune-u p, replace valve cover gasket, and check engine light is on We performed all that he asked for and while checking the engine light on, we
found the following codes: 118, 158, 214, 129, 536, and These codes causes the engine to run rough and we tried really hard to look for parts to fix these codes Even the dealership does not carry any of the parts due to the age of the carWe explained the problem to the customer and he agreed that we keep looking for the parts on-line so the car stayed in the shopfor a week until the customer decided to pick u p the car and look for the parts on their own We only charged him the work that we performed as he requested.Please see attached breakdown of bill We are still willing to work with him as long as he can provide the parts.Your immediate attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.Sincerely,Owner

Dear Sir,This is in response to your letter dated Dec. 4, 2015.  Previous responses were faxed over last Nov. 05 and Nov. 19, 2015.As previously mentioned in our letters dated Nov. 5 and Nov. 19,  we unable to fix the engine check light and vehicle running rough due to unavailable parts. We replaced valve cover gasket and did tune-up.  We double check and test run the car before it came out of our shop.  Customer was fully aware that the car was not fully fixed when he picked the car.  Since customer mentioned in the letter that they found the website for the parts, we are willing to work with customer.

I am rejecting this response because:
I stated in my previous letter that the spark plug wires were not connected to the spark plugs, just hanging down,so how did that pass a road test? My girlfriend who drove the car home had stated that the car didn't feel or drive the same way ! So I took the car out and sure enough,NO POWER when accelerating up a small hill,and it couldn't idle at all ! I too fix cars on the side,so I do know about cars and how they work.B & B Auto Repair Shop did not road test the car or he would not have let it leave like that !Had I picked up the car instead of my girlfriend(I was working),I would have refused to take it and made them fix it righ(I payed almost 1,300.00),for a repair that I got back worst then when I sent it ! I am asking for 600.00 to be refunded due to the re do repairs I had to double check because of neglects on B & B Auto Repairs ! If this stays on their Revdex.com account then yes I am a VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER and will go elsewhere for my future auto repairs! That is why I filled this Revdex.com complain the very next day!
