We were called by the [redacted] Police Department to tow a 2000 Cadillac Catera on 3/16/2016 from [redacted]. This was a police ordered tow and it was in a very difficult position for us to get to it and tow it. The driver had to...

hook and re hook to get the car out of the location it was in. At that time the officer took all the notes containing the condition of this car. The bumper was hanging on by a thread. That day the owner called and said the car was junk and not worth fixing but he had donated it to someone so he wanted the car back. Then the owner came into our shop he never said anything about any damage. He paid us for the police tow as well as for us to tow it back to his residence. Before we could get the car hooked to the truck to take to his residence he was calling into our office to tell us he is going to file a law suit on us and we will hear from his attorney. At that point he was refunded the money for the 2nd tow and informed him he would have to get another towing company to tow it for him that we would not be doing it. We did inform him that he would need to make a police report if he felt we did damage. At the time of us removing the car he was present there and chose not to give us any information that would have been helpful and was not willing to work with us at all. I can provide all the reports pertaining to this case if needed. I do not understand why he wanted us to tow it back to his residence if we had damaged it in the first place.

We have footage of the the company's tow driver dragging the Cadillac across the driveway and leaving the property with the front end of the vehicle STILL INTACT. We also have footage showing I was not present at the time the company is claiming I was. I spoke to the [redacted] Police Department and the Chief, Jack D[redacted], read me the police report. The only front end damage that I am responsible for is the grill missing from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle was going to be used for a fundraiser for my nephew who has diabetes; it wasn't donated to anyone. Also, I called B&B asking how to get my vehicle back because it is my property and I have a right to know how to get my vehicle back. I have video evidence of my encounter with this company when I went to pick up my vehicle. I was yelled at and disrespected multiple times along with given the hardest of times when I asked why my vehicle was as destroyed as it was. The law suit was not threatened until I went to go pick up my vehicle and saw the damage done. I wanted my vehicle back because regardless of the damage, it is my vehicle. Also, I showed up to get my vehicle so I don't understand how I could have been calling into the office threatening a law suit if I was there physically. I had an attorney call and try to reason with this company and they have been rude to him just as they been to me. If B&B thinks I am bluffing with my photo and video evidence of their negligence, then I am more than happy to provide it in court.

The company's driver admitted to a city police officer that he destroyed the front end when he dropped the car at the lot upon his return from my property. I have more than enough sufficient evidence to prove my front end was intact before they towed my vehicle and I also have evidence that I was not even present when my vehicle was towed. The tow report even states this fact, along with the fact that the front bumper was in good condition minus the grill missing. I will see this company in court with my police report along with my photo and video evidence. I am beyond astounded with the behavior of the owner of this company and her rude manner in which she has approached this situation.

We also have police reports back to 2015 that show the bumper was not attached back then also information from craigs list as well. The bumper was hanging by a one small piece and came off in the towing process, however we did no damage to this vehicle. The bumper was not on secure to begin with. If the owner had not had the trouble with the city and parked it in such a bad spot as to deture the police from towing it the vehicle would have not been towed at all. The owner had many opportunities to do something with this vehicle so that the city would not have it towed. So we believe we are being brought into an ongoing battle that the owner has had with the city all the way back to 2015 and we will not pay for that. We are prepared to show our case in court along with members of CFPD if needed.
