were receiving care from another agency and were unhappy with the other agency because the care giver was not being proactive and they noticed some items were missing from the homeWe did not fire the previous care giver as we did have authority to do soWe met with the client’s family and explained how Home Instead Senior Care could help the client stay safely at homeThe family requested we start providing careWe provided care for one month with a care giver that was working out wellThat care giver went on vacation and we arranged for a second care giver to cover for the original vacationing care giverWhile the vacationing care giver was away the client noticed some kitchen items missing and did not wish the original care giver returnThe missing items were later discoveredAt this time the clients brought home a rescue dogThe clients were still very happy with the replacement care giver and the care giver really liked spending time with the clientThe rescue dog was showing signs of aggression toward the care giver up to the point that the care giver was feeling unsafeThe care giver felt bad about asking to be removed from the case but could not go on with the presence of the dogWe had to remove the care giver and the clients wished to interview care givers to replace herWe set up several interviews for a replacement care giver but the client indicated they did not wish to continue with Home Instead Senior CareOur goal is to enrich the lives of seniors while keeping them safely homeI apologize we were not able to succeed with this clientWe will contact the client’s son to see if we can try another care giver to make sure the client can safely remain at home and will advise of that outcome Thank YouScott R*** Home Instead Senior Care 440-914-
