B & B Paving Company

There should be a negative rating for this company. The owner walks up selling left over chip and tar. The owner promise that if we did not like he would pave the driveway. Our questions were will this get as hard as the road .. Well it don't .This man tells lie after lie. Don't show up when he says. Gives you a run around. His wife wants me to talk to her son. Her son is not the who made the deal. This chip[ and tar stick to your shoes, you in the house. This man needs to stop going to houses looking for business

There should be a negative rating for this company. They sold my elderly parents a "paved driveway" . They did nothing more than scrape up the gravel that was down, moved it off the drive way, spread out pea gravel and sprayed some sort of black tar-ish mess on rocks and another layer of pea gravel. Now the pea gravel gets stuck to your shoes when you walk across the driveway. It gets tracked all over the place.It is a bigger mess than what they had before. Every time my mother calls to complain, she gets promises and excuses. They never come out when they say they will and their equipment breaks down a lot!
My parents have paid several thousand dollars to this company and have nothing but loose, sticky pea gravel to show for it.

About a month prior to June 8,2018, I got a business card of B&B from a worker of the company that was working on my street. I called that evening about getting my driveway fuxed and within an hour the owner *** was in my driveway. I pointed out the problem that I had with my driveway that was an eyesore. My concerns were the bottom of the driveway near the house and the huge cracks over the driveway. *** assured me that he would fix it and it would look really nice. He also told me that he would dig out the washed out part by the house and clean it up. He stated that if asphalt was still there his guys would find it and if not that's another cost from the $500 to do the driveway. I waited a few weeks and called the working number on the buisness card. I told the female ***hat *** had came out and told me how much it would be for him to do the yard. She called him and he immediately called back and scheduled my drive to be done the next day, but I asked for a couple of days. The guys burned the grass out of the cracks, dug for asphalt in the washed out part of the drive(did not find any), and they blew all the debris from the driveway. They then sprayed a very very thin coat of something making sure to not overlap. I walked the perimeter and asked about the cracks and the edges. I was told that the material used was like rubber and once it dries it would expand and fill the cracks. I had to ask again about the edges because they had wrapped up. Before the guys finished *** had told me that to fix and bring the washed out part to meet the sidewalk and all that good stuff. He wanted me to pay an extra $250 upfront in order to order the asphalt, but he had already told me that it would be from material from another job but at cheaper rate for me. I paid a total of $600 June 8th owing him $150 when the bottom of driveway was complete by the 11th or 12th, but stated he put 7-10 days incase of rain. Waiting for him to come so that he could see the mess of my driveway, I never hear back. I call ***'s number again on the 7th day June 19th and she said that, "I didn't know anything about him suppose to be coming back, but now that I do, it will get done by the end of the week". Not good. Then a story about grandchild sick. Monday, June 25th still nothing. I started calling around 8:30/9 on Tuesday, June 26th and the call was constantly rejected. The 1st message was simply asking for a call because I had an event for the 29th and wanted my driveway completed. The 2nd message I was upset, because *** had answered or called right back previously. After a few hours of trying to call, I left a message stating that if l didn't hear from them by the end of the day, that I would pursue legally. *** called back within 10 minutes, she was in the Dr's office because of an allergic reaction. She said her and *** was just talking about getting my driveway done on Wednesday June 27th. Really!!! Well, *** called on Wednesday around 8:30 stating that he would be at my house today to do the patch. I asked for a time frame, he stated after noon. I sit and wait 12-4 no show no call. I called *** answered 1st ring. She said I'm not with ***. WHAT?????? *** called and was going to be here in an hour or hour in a half. I told him if he didn't come after I had waited all evening I was filing documents the next morning. He said, "go ahead they can't do nothing to me". He called back to push my buttons, then called again at 5 to tell me if I had any errands to run go ahead because he was just leaving Tupelo over an hour from me. Anyways he showed up around 6:15 to butter up that he didn't come to fix my driveway. At this point I was furious. I told him to get off my property, never return, and it was a warning because he is not honest or trust worthy. I want my money back because my driveway is a sloppy mess.

MARCH 5TH A REP. FROM B&B CAME AND SOLD ME PAVEMENT FOR DRIVE WAY. FINALLY SAID YES. HE HAD TOLD ME SAME OLD TALE HAD LEFT OVER BLACK TOP FORM PRIOR JOBS. IT WOULD BE SO GOOD AND HAVE NO MORE WATER PROBLEMS ETC. WHEN HE FINISHED I ASK DO YOU NOT SEAL BLACKTOP. OH YEAH ANOTHER $100 . 2 DAYS LATER I COULD SEE NOT BLACKTOP AS HE SAID. JUST SMALL GRAVE.L. WAS NOT SEALED JUST LOOSE ROCK. EVERYONE WHO DROVE UP ASK WHAT IT WAS .I TRIED CALLING FROM WED. MARCH 6TH UNTIL MAY 12TH. GOT EVERY LIE AND EXCUSE IN THE WORLD. THEY WOULD FIX WILL BE OUT BUT. TRUCK DOWN.;WORKING IN ANOTHER TOWN; MOM HAS CANCER; OH THOUGHT WAS DONE . LIE AFTER LIED. MY NEIGHBOR *** ALSO HAS PROB WITH THEM. I HAVE TRIED FOR 2 MONTHS. GRASS IS GROWING THROUGH THIS BLACK TOP. *** IS SAYING I BOUGHT SOME SORT OF PRESSED STUFF THAT IS NOT WHAT WAS SOLD. *** AND ***.
